I'm having a lot of sever low abdominal cramping.. Like I have to pass gas or go #2, tho, I do these things and no relief. I don't think this is braxton Hicks either. Anyone else experiencing this?
I told the doctor on Thursday and she didn't seem concerned. Just said " yeah, well you're really pregnant.. " . don't think it could be labour either since it does fade some if I lay still guess I'll just pressure the doc for more answers next week!
When you feel 'something is just not right' please go check it out. My due date was 10 Jan but in the week before Christmas I had severe abdominal discomfort like I have been winded or punched in the stomach. I felt some intestinal cramps similar to what you get when you have a tummy bug.
Being a FTM I had no idea whether this is 'normal' or not. I insisted my husband take me to hospital for a once over on 21 Devember and was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome. This is a variant of pre-eclampsia but a lot harder to detect as it doesn't typically come with high blood pressure or protein in the urine- which is what we are all tested for. I ended up having an emergency C-section on the 21st!
My Dr said if I didn't listen to my body and insisted on going to the hospital it all could have ended up rather terribly for me.
Same thing happened to me. Started at 7 am. Felt like I needed to go #2 really bad. I called my Dr and they made me go to ER to get checked. Got there about 10:30 am and I was 4 cm dilated. My daughter was born at 4:07 pm.

Ladies, please listen to your bodies!
