Baby's hair falling out too

My sons hair is falling out on the top and sides but not behind the ears or above neck in the back. He's going to look like Dr Phil soon lol.

Anyone else? I think it's growing back in much lighter too so it looks really weird. I wonder how long this takes. My daughter had long dark hair when she was born and never lost it.

Same here! DD1 lost hers around 6 mo and it was back around 9. Started much sooner with this one.

Happened to my son as well. Born with a full head and then fell out at the front and on top. Started around 2 weeks and is now coming back in. From what I've read it's the hormone change in them as well as they aren't so flooded with our pregnancy hormones. Happens earlier in some babies and not at all in other.

My LO has the same thing. It's been like that since birth. It'll fill in eventually.

Mine was born like that, party in the back and hardly anything on top. We call it his scullet (scull + mullet) style.

Hope he grows hair eventually!

Oh phew. I'm so glad I read this. My sweetie has lost hair on top and in a horseshoe around but not in the back and I wondered!! She rubs her head back and forth in her sleep and she's rubbed a bald spot all around where her head touches the mattress- I'll be glad when it comes back in!!
