I'm so confused. T&Ps appreciated

I've been pretty quiet on this board since my intro last week, because I was almost certain I was experiencing a chemical pregnancy. My tests lines were getting much lighter and I even got one that was negative. I've been waiting to start bleeding, but nothing has happened yet and I'm now 4 days passed when AF was due. I have a couple extra wondfos laying around, so I decided to take one this morning to see if there's still some HCG lingering and that's why I haven't started bleeding. Well, the test is a solid, dark positive even after numberous tests that had gotten much lighter than my original tests. I'm so confused, and of course it's a Saturday so I won't be able to go in for blood work until Monday at the earliest. Has anyone else experienced something like this? With my previous CP, I got the lighter lines and started bleeding a day or two later. T&Ps for some answers soon would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ladies.

    I'm sorry you're going through this confusion. I don't have any experience to share but wanted you to know that at least someone's thinking of you! Ts&Ps that your most recent BFP is an indicator of good things to come!

    Were you using the same brand of tests to compare the test lines? And always FMU? It's possible that it could have been the tests or your urine was diluted. A dark line is reassuring so I would have hope that this isn't a CP.

    I had been POAS like a crazy person, I used both FRER and wondfo and all of the tests got progressively lighter than the first few. I did FMU with most of them. Thanks @JennM205 and @Sarafuss

    Sorry you are going through this!! These things always seem to happen over the weekend when you have to wait til Monday to get any answers! Hopefully you can get a beta done Mon and Weds and then you will know what is going on! If it were me, I would take another test tomorrow just to see what happens with the line. I have heard of this happening when a pregnancy starts out as a twin pregnancy but then becomes a singleton pregnancy, screwing with your hcg levels! I hope you get good news this week!

    I am so sorry you are going through that, not knowing is the worst. I have never heard of something similar. This is why it is so stressful to test so early. I am hoping that things go well for you!!!

    That happened to me and I ended up losing the baby at 9 weeks. It ended up being a blood clotting issue caused by lupus. Not that your case is the same of course, but I understand the agony of not knowing.
    In my situation my betas went down and then back up. After another month I started spotting. I spent hours googleing, looking for hope. It was a very rough few months. You're definitely in my prayers.
