Good morning! Guess I'm the first to respond. My husband has been taking clomid for almost 2 weeks now and he feels great on it. He's only been taking the androgel at half the dose every other day, and we were expecting a T crash from the cut dose, but maybe the clomid has been picking up the slack and keeping his T levels at a comfortable range. Right now we're just waiting until 1/28 when we get a new SA and blood work to check his T levels to see if there has been any improvement.
I tried tracking my cycle this month with OPKs but I never got a positive, so I have no clue if we had good timing or not. I'm wondering if the follistim + trigger shot I took last cycle is making my cycle longer this month. Or maybe I ovulated and missed the surge, who knows. Right now I've decided to stop with the OPKs this cycle because they were driving me crazy and so now I'm just waiting for AF. I plan to start temping next cycle. Might as well continue to TTC the ol' fashioned way while we wait to see if my husband's sperm count improves.
QOTW: I'm looking forward to (hopefully) getting a BFP this year, and good riddance to... facebook. I haven't logged on in almost 2 weeks now and I feel so much better! I'm done!
***BFP & Child Warning***
Me: 34, DH: 38 ~ TTC since 2014 IUI #1-3 (Nov 2015, Feb 2016, May 2016) = BFNs IVF ER (July 2016) = 7 PGS normal embryos FET #1 (Sept 2016) = BFP! DD born 5/30/17 FET #2 (April 2019) = BFN FET #3 (July 2019) = BFP! DS born 3/27/20
So I have to schedule an HSG which I'm nervous about. I also was told to stop the Clomid and I'll start Metformin once the blood results come back in a few days. I signed up for the Max Challenge with my twin sister. It's a weight loss class that's M-F and I'm praying it works! I've been cooking better and the hubby lost 16lbs and I lost nothing!
Question of the Week: "Happy New Year! Looking forward to starting a different treatment and good riddance to my weight!!"
I'm 11 days into TTW, will be testing Thursday am with poas. I have been feeling super exhausted everyday and can't manage to catch up on sleep.
@wifeinraleigh28 glad to hear that DH seems to be reaponding well to Clomid. Always wondered if it gives the men the same hormonal crazies as the ladies lol.
Happy New Year! Looking forward to some relaxation and good riddance to negative friends!

Hello everyone, I would like to join here. I am 32 and have been diagnosed with PCOS since I was around 16. My DH and I have been TTC on and off for about 2 years, but started seeing an RE in April 2015. DH had low sperm count and low motility but it has been improved to low side of normal ranges since then. We do not know how it improved though. I tried two Letrozole+TI cycles and one Letrozole+Ovidrel+IUI cycle so far. All BFNs. We took the December off from the medications to get the HSG done and also because of my insurance. HSG was clear. So the current diagnosis is PCOS only. I started to track this cycle with opk but I dont think I ovulated. I had spotting last week for half day, and it completely stopped. I do not know what it means, especially if I did not ovulate. My cycles are always so confusing, it drives me crazy. I will have BW tomorrow to check progesterone and HCG, if I had not ovulated yet I will start provera to induce AF and we will start the second IUI cycle in January.
Happy new year everyone ! Looking forward to start the new year with hope and peace of mind, and good riddance to negative thoughts
Good morning ladies! I don't have too much to report right now since I am in the middle of my TWW- today is 10dpiui. I am still debating whether or not I will test at 13dpiui. I will definitely test at 14dpiui since that's when I go in for my beta. Last week I had some light pink spotting at 6dpiui and 7dpiui. I'm trying not to read into it too much, but that's easier said than done!
QOTW: Looking forward to an optimistic mind set and good riddance to pessimism!

@wifeinraleigh28 great news that your DH is feeling good with the change! FX for good news from the blood work!

QOTW: after 6 months of non-stop waiting for something or another I am looking forward to finally getting off the bench and getting back to ttc! I'm secretly hoping he will clear me to start again when I get my next cycle but I'm mentally prepared to have to wait one more. Good riddance to 2015 as a whole - not much good came out of it for me.
Hey ladies! I'm in a bit of a pickle now. I had O pains CD11 and took some advil. Then I was reading and apparently ibuprofen can delay or inhibit ovulation. I have been taking advil every single cycle. So now I am wondering if the ibuprofen has been delaying my ovulating and that's also why my periods are late and not because of the progesterone. So I have continued BDing every other day and today CD14 I took an opk and it's almost positive again! (had a positive CD10). So I guess I am waiting to see. I will continue BDing every other day until CD18 or so and then stop. I guess there's not much more I can do. I will talk to my DR about it too. And heads up on ibuprofen and aspirin!
QOTW: "Happy New Year! Looking forward to finally growing our little family and good riddance to 2015, it has been awful for us"

Looking forward to hopefully getting pregnant in 2016 and good riddance to 2015. It was a rough year.
It's cd16 here and just waiting to O. I attempted to talk my dr into letting me trigger this month at my scan and no dice. He wants to have this cycle complete before we rethink our plans. Still all my opks are negative and ff is freaking out because of the 42 day cycle last month. Now to keep things funny between dh and I, I've been sending him funny images about guys getting sa. He said it's better then the needles I get poked with.
@plainjanie1 My mom doesn't mind her birthday on Christmas because I have always given her a real birthday card and wrapped something in non Christmas paper. I'm sure she wasn't a happy kid with it.
Qotw: Happy New Year! Looking forward to getting my license and first rn job and good riddance to nursing school!
I just read some great goals and attitudes, you ladies bring me back down to earth when I'm feeling depressed from all the BFNs that I've had. And for that, I say thanks! I'm on CD 23, about 5 days from testing. But honestly, the OPKs are killing me, I know I'm ovulating but can never nail down exactly when because my PCOS makes the OPKs not work. Another downer, my Metformin is upsetting my stomach. But I'm sticking with it! Not feeling any pregnancy symptoms at this point, so while I have hope, I'm preparing for my BFN in a week. QOTW.... Good riddance to my at-home daycare! That I opened because we were going to have a baby.... And hello teaching job! I'm so ready for a fresh start in 2016.
Thanks for the warm welcome!! It's good having ladies who can relate to the struggle! I'm 4dpiui and feeling really good! This is my 2nd IUI so I'm alot more calm so far during this 2ww. I'm the most inpatient person ever....so this journey has been an eye opener. Happy New Year!! In 2016 I'm looking forward to hopefully a BFP!! and good riddance to negative influences!
I'm hoping for good things for all of us in the coming year! My IVF meds should arrive this week. I can't wait to go through them, it'll be like a scary, pointy Christmas present.
