  I was just telling my husband that. I said since the majority of the pregnancy was in 2015, once it hits midnight it's 2016 which is "crunch time!" Time is flying by, I have 8 more weekends until she is due! DH said not to count in weekends because it sounds too quick.

  All I could think about last night was how quick the baby is coming and how unprepared and a little terrified I feel.
  
  I still can't believe I'm going to be a parent and have this little creature to take care of...it's crunch time for sure.

  This baby is coming about 2/3rds of the way through my last full semester for my MA and I'm trying to remain in denial about how insane it's going to be. Crossing my fingers that it all works out... Holy Crap, it's 2016!

  Happy New Year, everyone! All I could think of after the countdown last night was, holy crap my baby is coming this year!! It seemed way farther away when it was only 2015.

  I told DS that Little Sister is coming this year, and he was not impressed. Poor toddler has been looking for her at the dr's office and in rooms at the house, even though sometimes he remembers she's in my belly. I think DH is starting to realize crunch time is here, and I'm just over here stressing and making lists.

  Bahaha- I just checked the Chinese calendar and it looks like dd was born in the year of the monkey too! I'll have 2 monkeys!

  I had to look it up a while back on the Chinese calendar, too. Hubby and I are both dragons...I had to make sure we weren't having a rat! lol

  Omg! I am a nervous wreck. Haven't started fixing his room yet because we are moving to a bigger apartment in February and I am due March! My nesting instincts keeps kicking in! Created a list of remaining items to buy. I really hope everything will be fixed and ready for his arrival! I'm soooo excited!
