Hernia above belly button...?

Hello ladies. I am 19 weeks and a FTM. I started noticing a bulge about 1.5 - 2 in wide above my belly button. It has definitely gotten worse and larger over the past couple of weeks. I also started noticing it hurting and throbbing when it becomes irritated from me laughing, or moving weird, and even dancing or exercising. After NYE, and me dancing quite a bit, it was hurting pretty bad and has been very sore for the past day. My husband thinks it could be a hernia but that is not a medical professionals opinion. I have an appt in a week so I plan to ask my dr then but thought I would see if anyone else has experienced something like this...?

I don't have any experience but would suggest calling your dr before your scheduled appointment in case they want to see you earlier. Hope you feel better soon!

My OB diagnosed me with a hernia at my last appointment. Mine is a slightly bulged belly button with a bigger pocket underneath. I'm wearing a support belt 24/7 with full panel underwear, full panel pants, and a tight tank top. Takes the edge off and keeps it protected. I would call your doctor so you can get checked. Hope you feel better soon.

Sounds exactly like my hernia. I have had with my last two pregnancies also. Hurts a ton when pregnant but don't notice it when I am not.
