I think we are about at the end here!! (Don't want to jinx it though haha) went from sleeping 8-10 hour stretches to sleep 3-4 hour stretch then waking ever 1-2 hours after that! It strated around 14 weeks and we are 19 weeks now. I didn't help she got a cold during this time and when she would finally go to sleep her coughing would wake her up but we have gotten 7-8 hours stretch then 4-5 hours consistently for a week now and naps are 45 min to 2 hours now SO much better!! She is able to put herself back to sleep if she wakes in the middle of the night to! I am working full time it wasn't easy but there is a light at the end of the tunnel!!
We're in it now unfortunately. Went from 7 - 8 hour stretches to 4 hours. Not bad, I know, but I'm afraid it might get worse and it has the potential to really mess with her feeding schedule.
LO is 4mths and we haven't experienced anything yet except some crying before naps...I feel like I'm walking on thin ice tho bc he has been acting a little differently...
He was sleeping for about 8 hours (8PMish to about 4AM) then waking for a bottle and going right back to sleep until 7AM.
NOW he is almost impossible to get to sleep. I do a bath at 630ish then his last bottle, and he fights me SO HARD! He screams bloody murder, sometimes even with his eye closed like he is almost asleep! Then when I finally get him to sleep I rock him for an extra 15 mins before I put him in the crib. Lately, the majority of the time he wakes up the minute he hits the crib and either starts screaming crying or he wants to talk and play... Then the process starts all over again. He still sleeps til 4AM, but once he has his bottle he just wants to be awake and play, even though I can tell he's still tired. Then it usually takes me at least an hour to rock him back to sleep, and half the time by the time he finally gives in my alarm is going off for work -___-
My lo is 15 weeks right now. Two nights ago he had a very rough night...he typically sleeps from 9pm to 2am, then again from 2:30am to 7am. He was up 3 times in the first span alone. I thought for sure that we had entired the regression, but last night he slept all night only getting up to eat at 6am. Maybe this is the calm before the storm.
