Help! I'm gonna lose it

Lo has been crying now stop while he's awake only time he stop is when he's eating or asleep which is also impossible to get him to do. He had a cold seems like it's coming back a little. Idk what's wrong. Normal temp, wet diapers, eating. But why is he so miserable and fussy?! I'm going crazy with this crying

Re: Help! I'm gonna lose it

  • I had this happen a few times and was BAFFLED as to what on earth the issue was, we tried everything. It's the WORST feeling in the world and seems unending. Know that you WILL get through this.

  • Gas? Bicycle his legs and do toes to nose. Good luck!
  • Are you near a wonder week or is LO working on some new skill (cognitive or motor)? That can cause what you're seeing.

Dunno if this is it, but purple crying can last until 4 months, and the website has some great info!!

  • Our guy has been colicky and it's awful. He's grown out of it the last 3 weeks. Now, if he gets fussy it turns out to be gas. Like PP suggested- bicycle legs can help.
  • Holy fu*k! I thought my baby was dying five days ago. She would have this uncontrollable cry for about an hour or two and then stop, sleep, and wake up again crying. I finally gave her a really small dose of Tylenol and she stoped. I don't know what that was! She is going through sleep regression now so maybe it has something to do with that. Don't know.
She would do it again a few more times but we are able to stop it after 20 min with out giving her medication.
  • Has he always been like this or did it just start? My LO started to be exactly like this around 6 or 7 weeks. If she was awake she was crying. She wanted to be walked around constantly. You couldn't even sit with her. She wanted to be up and moving around. I started her on probiotic drops and in about a week it made a huge difference. She still has some days where she's pretty fussy but I think she's teething too. But the drops were a huge help. Hope you get some relief soon!
  • We were not quite that extreme. But when this happened it was usually gas for us

  • We started LO on probiotic drops too and it has definitely reduced the fussiness/crying. His woke him up every morning while he would grunt and yell while he tried to have a BM, that has finally stopped and now he just wakes up normally. Something to try, my husband and I both take probiotics too and I swear by for my immune system too. I hope it stops soon!
