Post those confessions, ladies.

Edit because it's hard to gif with a baby flopping around on the boob

  • I have at least a small bit of jealousy/irrational hatred for everyone who is EBFing or EPing who can produce enough milk for their LO. I feel defeated over the excitement I get for getting even a little more than an ounce after I spend a half hour pumping. I hate that my supply is so low, and that it's taking so long and so much effort to get it up at all.
  • I don't give two hoots about New Years... Never really have, even when I was in my 20's. Know what I did last night? Watched Game of Thrones on the on demand, noticed it was a minute until midnight, paused the tv, counted down, kissed DD on the head and then when back to my show. DH was already asleep in bed! No cares were given

I definitely went to bed at 11:30.

I confess that my baby's diaper hasn't been changed in 4 hours. But now I'm feeding him so it's gotta wait.
  • My husband and I work at the same school, and my coworkers were incredibly kind and set up a meal train that spanned a whole three weeks. We have three dogs who are suddenly protective of the baby, DD is cluster feeding in the evenings (ouch), and our fridge and freezer were exploding with food after a week. It got to the point where the visitors were really stressing me out, so I emailed everyone remaining on the train and told them not to come. I feel like a huge jerk.

No food train for us, but sometimes I invite people over to "visit the baby" because I know they will offer to bring food. SO's parents always stop at Buffalo Wild Wings before coming over and offer to bring us food so we don't have to take the baby out. Hah! If they insist ;)
  • Sometimes when people (especially my MIL) ask to hold A, I tell them he's just stopped fussing and he'll probably start again if he gets passed around (even though he wasn't actually fussing), because the whole pass-the-baby thing annoys me. You don't HAVE to hold him every time you see him.
  • My step dad was drrruuuuuunk last night and wanted to hold my son because he was crying (my son) I told him no because he didn't wash his hands so he got up and practically ran into the wall to the bathroom. After he sat back down I told him that baby was hungry and that we would be done in a bit. 3 minutes later step dad was passed out cold. SERIOUSLY?!? You could've dropped my kid!
