Pulmonary sequestration (BPS)

Just wondering if anyone else has gone through/is going through the same thing. During 20 week scan they found a bright white shadow on baby's lung. After appt with a specialist they have determined it's a Broncho pulmonary sequestration which is basically extra lung tissue inside the lung which is being fed by its own blood supply and therefore growing. We are being monitored with weekly scans to check its growth and see if an intervention is needed before birth. I'm currently 22 weeks and the 'critical period' of growth is up to 28 so it's just a waiting game. It's so scary and so hard to be normal for my older daughter.

Hi, I know this is a late response, but my daughter also had a BPS. She is now almost 3. Please let me know if there is any help I can provide!

Edit: She had surgery at 6 months to remove it, and I also had an older daughter to keep things normal for. ((hugs)) I know how hard and scary it is.
