SEX... OUCHHHHHHHH

11 weeks post baby, c-section delivery and breast feeding. SEX is practically intolerable. It feels like I have brush burns inside of my vagina.. With or with out lube! I understand that the low estrogen is causing the vaginal walls too thin thus causing pain but holy cow.. I feel awful bc I can't even pretend it doesn't hurt. Anyone else dealing with this and how are you coping ?

    Ive only had sex twice since being cleared.i also had a c section. First time felt like I was having sex with a cactus. Second still hurt a little but not as bad. At this point it's still for him and not enjoyable yet for me lol. Tampons felt like I was using them for the first time again when I had my first postpartum period.

    Yes! I had a second degree tear and sex is pretty awful. I even told my husband I now wish he wasn't so well endowed! Praying this gets better so one day our son can have some siblings.

    My baby is 10weeks and we have had sex 4 times, we first had sex at 7weeks, i think the more you have sex the more comfortable it will get, i can just about feel it, not exactly enjoyable at the min, but can surely say it's getting better, i know its hard to bring yourself to do it, but once we did it was kind of a relief.

    Definite agree the more sex the better it gets !! It hurt sooo bad the first time after having my baby (had sex before I was cleared at like 5weeks - it was just one of those cant wait any longer moments, not so smart I know lol) ... So I recommend have it more often and it's much more enjoyable for sure ! :)

    We've been back at it for 3 weeks now, I'm 9 weeks PP. It does get better. The first time we stopped early, the next few were uncomfortable, and the most recent time was actually enjoyable! Just make sure you communicate to him and experiment to find the most comfortable positions. I feel your pain (literally)!
