Vaccination schedule

Happy new year mums! Does anyone know if it's okay to get the 4 mo shot a few days earlier than 4 mo birth date? Have heard split opinions and the nurse from my pead said its imp to wait for 4 mo exact specially for playgroups and schools admission, while the doctor said its okay to do it a week earlier. I am thinking of traveling internationally, that's why figuring out dates. Thanks

    I would get information from the source... Like the playgroups and schools you would be likely to send you kid to in the future! I can't see why it'd be an issue. People delay for all sorts of reasons and that's okay so why wouldn't a vaccine a week early!

    My LO got hers 5 days early. This actually came up at her appointment because he asked if I wanted her to get a flu shot at her 6 month check up. (You have to be 6 months to get it) Our peditrican said that the 6 month. 1 year and 4 year old appointments have to be on or before the actual date but there's some leeway on the other visits.
