My first pregnancy I used "From Pea to Pumpkin" and I'm looking for something different this time around.

I don't know if I will do a pregnancy journal at all to be honest. The point is to give to your child later on yes? Would they really want to read it?

I definitly want to do a "first few years journal" but I won't be getting any of the pre-made ones I don't think... Maybe. But that seems more fun, you keep a list of their firsts, stamp their little hands and feet (with safe ink of course) and take cute pictures

I have a baby book for LO, but it's nice to look back on my preg journal as you forget a LOT of things that happened (preg brain is real)! I'll probably share the journal with DS the first time he brings a date home... Haha jk... Maybe

Thank you so much for starting this! I've never heard of any of these before. I've always journaled and I've kept a detailed account of the last few weeks in my regular journal notebook, but these are awesome for documenting pregnancy only things. I think I like 40ish weeks pregnant the best and Sophie the giraffe 2nd. Don't worry -- I'll also do the poll.

I'm actually just keeping my own journal. I have zero self control when it comes to keeping secrets, so this wait is killing me! I was thinking keeping a journal will help keep my big mouth tendencies satisfied. We'll see!

You know I have been looking them up and now I just might try this pregnancy journal thing lol!!!
Even if I don't end up showing it to my child it will be good memories for me!
I will wait a little tho, still so early.

. Looking at my previous journal, it started @6wks but I don't think I started writing in it til 9w. So I have some time to do a little research!

My MIL bought us one for Christmas with an insensitive note attached (related to my loss in October and how we needed to get back on the horse). It was the Belly Book and although I'm still angry with her I do like the book. I am waiting to fill it out until the second trimester though, so I'm using it as a template and typing things in the meantime. Once I see this pregnancy sticks, I'll go back and hand copy the entries into the book.

@FireInWonderland Ouch... That must of hurt, getting a note like that. I'm so sorry. A lot of people don't really know what to say, or when not to say anything in situations like that

I keep my own journal. I did it with DS from pregnancy and still doing it. I love going back and reading it. I also do my own weekly pics.

@Alyeena it did. And DH called and told her how insensitive it was and she straight up said she didn't think it was insensitive at all and we were overreacting. Eventually she will come to terms or DH and I will move past it... But in the meantime we are enjoying looking at the baby belly book. Lol.

ETA because I couldn't words today.

I decided to start a blog, I am using blogger through my google account. I love it so far. I am able to write what ever I want, add pictures without having to print them out.
After it is all said and done I am going to use a company like snapfish to make my posts into a little hardcover book. I will probably also use this to document the baby through the first 2 years or so.

Shutterfly actually has a really cute pregnancy photo book. The pages are laid out for you already (you can modify of course) and you just fill in a few details and add some photos. I did it with DS, it was great!
