Update on d-bag dad

For all of you that have followed my stories on babies dad being a total douche, I am excited to tell you that since baby has been born he has been absolutely amazing! He is so in love with his little girl and it makes me one happy mama

I wish it didn't take so long for him to change, but I'm happy he did at all!

@BarrettJ89 I have certainly thought the SAME thing but judging by the way things are going now and how wonderful the rest of his family has been I don't think that will be the case...hopefully!

Just...stay smart. One of my close friends had a similar situation. He was also a stellar dude the first year or so, and now he's an unreliable, unemployed coke addict who comes and goes, and that kid has all sorts of emotional and behavioural issues.

Yikes...yeah I can't see him becoming any kind of addict and he just got a nice job offer, but who knows what the future will bring. Hopefully not that...

I think it's great. You know all the common sense stuff about keeping your guard up and not letting yourself become dependent on him for anything, but to be able to enjoy this time the way everyone deserves to and see your child being loved by both parents is a great thing. Some men really just dont get it until it is physically in front of them. Whether it's forever or temporary it's a good time for you.. enjoy it!
