Rant/raves/positive vibes? In work yesterday a man was desperate to get his drycleaning back within the day. He's a good customer and I said I'd do it for him. When he came back to collect he brought a bottle of Moët for me 'to start my new year off with a pop!' (Obv doesn't know I can't drink it YET!) made my day all the same:)

Rant/Raves/Positive vibes? I get my MS at night after I eat dinner and it was really bad last night. DH found me asleep on the bathroom floor and was so sweet. Put me to bed and made me a sick bucket so I wouldn't have to lay on the cold hard bathroom floor.

Also, with all the Christmas festivities I feel like I've been offered wine at every turn and obviously have to turn it down for some reason or another (haven't announced yet). The paranoid part of me always thinks it's a test and they know lol.

GTKY- What are you most looking forward to in the new year? My DD hopefully becoming a big sister and DH finishing his PhD.
@alyssajrob22 - We have a Graco Snugride infant seat and a Britax Roundabout convertible seat. I like them both. Definitely make sure the seats fit in your car-- depending on your vehicle it might be a tight squeeze. The Graco fit in the middle seat in our small Toyota Echo, which was great. If I were to do it again, I would buy the Britax Marathon or Boulevard instead, but my DH chose the Roundabout because of cost. I think the Marathon and Boulevard just look more comfortable.

GTKY- What are you most looking forward to in the new year? Crazy year - a girls trip to AZ in February, this baby in August and in a friends wedding in November! (Along with the normal fun of working and raising my 7yo and 4yo!)

How are you feeling? Nausea has chilled out a bit (which of course has me nervous), but I figured I'd attempt a cup of coffee this morning because I've been getting caffeine headaches, as I was getting the pot ready the smell of the coffee grounds made me throw up. I don't even know who I am anymore....(context: I used to have a pot of coffee a day)
Doing anything baby related today? Now that we've been to the doctor DH wants to tell his parents, but they won't be able to keep it to themselves, which means we are telling all close family today.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: DH used to not want kids, so it's really cool to see DH start to get excited about baby, even when we haven't heard the heartbeat or seen the baby yet. I can't wait for those moments with him.

Questions? I've been eating more seafood than I probably should. Scallops and crab mainly. Fully cooked of course. And DH is making bacon wrapped scallops and lobster for us for dinner tonight. I think I'm going to cut down on it after tonight. Anyone else a huge seafood eater? How are you dealing?

How are you feeling? pretty good so far today. Definitely had MS back with a vengeance a few days this week (except for me, it's evening sickness) and some fatigue

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Hoping I can enjoy our NYE dinner out without nausea! My in-laws finally left town yesterday. I love them, but they'd been here since the 21st and we have a small condo, and I want my space back, especially when feeling pukey! This weekend, we are driving up to where we're moving next year to look at houses. Really anxious for our U/S next week. 1st appt is a week from today.

Questions? I posted this on the ultrasound thread but thought I'd ask here too... I had my first appointment yesterday and it was only to review personal/family history. I do not get an exam until 12 weeks, and only one ultrasound which is the anatomy scan around 20 weeks. A good friend who is a physician assistant in women's health thought this was very strange and suggested I look for a different ob... I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I know it's not necessary for everyone, but at the same time I don't want to have a bad experience, especially for my first!
GTKY- What are you most looking forward to in the new year? Meeting this little one and just enjoying life as it comes!
How are you feeling? Tired and some food aversions. It's like I crave things and once I have it I can't be anywhere near it. I boiled a whole head of cabbage just to have a little of it and now I'm throwing it away because that smell!! The smell wasn't bad when I was eating it. But no MS. I'm dreading it coming but I feel like it's weird to have the food aversions and no MS yet. I did have an EXTREMELY vivid dream last night of vomiting that woke me up. This has happened to me before though when I was not KU.
Doing anything baby related today? I bought everything to do my weekly pictures. I got a frame and different colors of card stock paper to document my weeks. I think it will be cool to change the colors with different weeks.

How are you feeling? Well I was worried yesterday because the nausea went away. But it came back with a vengeance within a couple hours of being awake. I got my prescription from my doctor and took it last night. I only took a half dose. Seems to be working so far. So we'll see how it goes. I've been getting more cramps lately. Can't tell if it's intestinal or uterine. I'm trying not to worry because I've been constipated and I know growing pains are normal. I just need to calm down...

GTKY- What are you most looking forward to in the new year? A new year. 2015 was the worst year of my life and for DH too. We faced many challenges and lost several people to death including our first pregnancy. We're ready for a new year with hopefully happier events such as the birth of this child in August!

How are you feeling? The most noticeable symptom for me is dizziness/lightheaded. I think I might need to take some iron supplements. I also have continued to notice I'm really only nauseous when I wake up, but then it goes away. Thankfully no throwing up yet! Also, really tired around 3 pm in the afternoon.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I really just want to tell my mom and dad I'm pregnant going into the NY, but out of respect for my cautious SO, I have agreed to wait until after the first appointment. Only 4 more days til then!
Questions? Is anyone out there anemic? I've been reading about it during pregnancy and I have a lot of symptoms. We have our first Dr appt on Tuesday and I plan to bring it up then.
GTKY- What are you most looking forward to in the new year? We have a trip planned to the Dominican in Feb (should be just past the first trimester) and the baby in August. Also looking forward to getting a new job, I have been unemployed since August 1, so this has been interesting timing!

GTKY- What are you most looking forward to in the new year? At the end of January, we're moving from the PNW to the Southeast, where I'm from and where most of my family lives. Can't wait! And then in August, of course, we get to meet our baby!
