My husband and I finally broke down and bought a Costco membership today. I was wondering if anyone has used the Kirkland brand formula? Its so much less expensive, but I don't want to sacrifice nutrition for my LO. I am currently using Enfamil.
Im not using Kirkland brand but I had a similar situation. I went from Similac sensitive to the Walmart brand and it made a big difference in the best way. Ive heard alot about store brands being great. And cheaper too definitely helped out in all ways possible.
We use Kirkland Signature. Our pediatrician recommended it. She said it was just as good as the Similac we were giving him and it's half the price. We've had no issues and no regrets.
We've been using it for about 2-3 months and it's great! It's made by same company as Similac so there is no difference except price and branding. LO has one BM daily which our pediatrician told us was completely normal. So go for it! Well worth the savings that you can use elsewhere.
Not related to formula, but try the Kirkland brand diapers ... we LOVE them! We were using Pampers Swaddlers up until size 2 but were having blow-outs up the back because the back of the diaper didn't tighten snug enough against his back. We switched over to Kirkland brand size 2's and have only had one blow-out since. He's now in Kirkland size 3. The design is great because it tightens snuggly against LO's back to help prevent blow-outs.
I second the diapers! However, be careful with how much you buy. LO got through 1 and 2/3 boxes of size 1s. I have a ton left over but it couldn't do the blow outs up the back anymore (4 in a row was a sign). My coworker had a baby at the beginning of December so I'll pass them to her.
I also wanted to add that I was looking at my Kirkland can of formula and there is a table comparing ingredients to Enfamil and Similac. Everything in the Kirkland formula is right between the two different brands.

Either way, we have nothing but good things to say about it.
LO has done well with it and I love saving the money.
