R/R/CS: I love stat holidays. Honestly, they're the best thing ever. In Canada we get the 26th as a stat and since it fell on a Saturday this year, I got Monday off in lieu. And with Friday being New Year's Day, this is a 3-day work week. So good.

GTKY: Do you do New Years Resolutions? Are you making any NY resolutions for 2016? Any great resolution success stories? I don't usually make resolutions. I just promise myself that I will live each day in the moment and not take a single moment of the next year for granted.
  • Ok, sorry if TMI but I need opinions... so we DTD using preseed this morning around 7 am and I forgot to check my CM before hand. After @BusinessWife posted the extremely helpful graphic on CP, I decided to go hunting for it and found massive amounts of what I would call EWCM. I'm hesitant to mark it as such on FF because I'm wondering if it's left over messiness from this mornings BD. What do you guys think? What would you do? Someone earlier said they like to wait about 12 hours which is about what it's been. HELP!

  • @MRSCORKER I believe cm will not dissolve in water, but semen will. Might want to get a disposable cup and try it out

I'm sure it's probably EWCM 12 hours is the standard waiting time, I also think I've read on here that semen doesn't act the same or look quite the same but I don't remember what the differences were

Yeah, based on what it says in TCOYF, I'm gonna call it EWCM. I'm on CD 11 and don't usually O until CD 15ish so I'm a little hesitant but we'll see. Thanks!

    ***chart stalk please!***

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 18

    WAYDTGKTFU: BD, temps, PNV

R/R/CS: I think FF is punishing me for missing that temp on CD14. I've played around and added hypothetical temps and I get GOOD, solid crosshairs on that day but without it I get nothing. It even says I'm probably not fertile anymore. I'm still pretty new at this so maybe you ladies can offer some insight. Im just getting tired of BD'ing EOD and my lady parts and I need a break.

Rant #2: It took no time for MIL to do something stupid. She just got in yesterday and decided that she and her friend would take DS (4yo) to the movies. Great! I just got off work in the AM and am sleeping all day anyway. But they leave without letting me know and with NO CAR SEAT! I am livid! This is so typical of her thoughtless, careless, no common sense having self!

GTKY: Do you do New Years Resolutions? Are you making any NY resolutions for 2016? Any great resolution success stories?
I'm resolving to be more active in church. It's important to us for DS to grow up knowing God and we need to set a better example and make it a consistent part of our lives.

  • @MRSCORKER In my experience, the semen mixture is more watery, but EWCM will actually do the stretch thing between your fingers 1" or more.

R/R/CS: Really not feeling going out tomorrow after an 11 hour work day, but I guess I will since all our friends are going. I'd much rather be on the couch in my jammies.

GTKY: Do you do New Years Resolutions? Are you making any NY resolutions for 2016? Any great resolution success stories?
I don't really do resolutions. I do usually eat better since holidays are over.

R/R/CS: Thanks for the well wishes yesterday. I felt awful all day and this morning, but have finally figured out the magical combination of tums and Tylenol, and am feeling better!

GTKY: Do you do New Years Resolutions? Are you making any NY resolutions for 2016? Any great resolution success stories?
I want to minimize my belongings again. I am 95% done with my first pass using the Konmari method, but now I feel like I still have too much, and I want to go through everything again. Once I'm done I plan to treat myself with a paid deep clean!

R/R/CS: it's starting to get cold andand I miss the warm winter.

GTKY: Do you do New Years Resolutions? Are you making any NY resolutions for 2016? Any great resolution success stories? I want to throw away everything. Okay, not everything but a lot of crap!

@SpartyCat do you like the KonMari Method? I received the book for Christmas, and I'm excited and anxious to get started. I tend to save everything either from guilt or sentimental reasons, and I really want to just let go and live in a clean, minimalist space. Did you follow the order of the book and her specific directions for getting rid of things?

  • @AmMcc12 I definitely said something to here. And apparently DH did also. To make matters worse, since DS's eye surgery last week, we have to put drops in his eye every two hours to keep it from drying out since he can't blink yet. Well she had him out for over seven hours with no drops! I could've killed her!

That is just negligent and makes me upset! I can't believe how upset you are! Hope everything is good with your son!

  • @AmMcc12 thanks for looking! The open circles are due to travel, time changes and a toddler. This month temping has been less than ideal because I'm traveling the whole cycle.
  • @Paturkey I was "punished" last month for missing a temp on probably-O day, too. So frustrating! I was visiting friends and sleeping in a room with others HS-style so literally nothing I could have done to change it. I just assumed I O'ed when I thought I did anyway.
  • @ChelleCPA Yes!! I am the type of person that forms strong sentimental attachments to items and I never thought I could let go of anything, it was a real mind shift for me. Now I try to only keep objects that bring me joy, and I don't feel guilty about keeping them. I found her steps perfect (clothes, books, papers, misc, sentimental) because you start easy, and by the end you really are much more practiced and it is so much easier! My husband is overjoyed at my progress haha.

Her book is also really short so it's easy to get through. Good luck!

I loved the KonMari method! It really helped me out when I was super overwhelmed with clutter. We plan on moving again in July, so I'll probably do it again since we've just accumulated Christmas things.

Also... sorry for adding to yesterday's thread. Just had to chime in!
