Bloody mucus after bowel movement (TW)

Does this happen to anyone else? I've already been taking stool softener for a week and even started taking two a day to try to prevent this but it's not like my stool is hard. I have my first sonogram this wed so I'll bring it up to doc then. I'll be 8w4d.

Yep I get this! Freaks me out everytime. I get it because i have a retroverted uterus, so my uterus and cervix are tilted towards my bowels. I've learnt to only go to the toilet when I'm absolutely ready to go and not to strain too hard.

This happened to me with #2 kid many times and Dr. did not see anything to worry about. I wonder if I have a retroverted uterus too..

Thanks for replying ladies. Today I didn't have a bowel movement and yet I had very bloody mucus. At least tomorrow is my appointment and hope to get some answers. Wonder if it's bc I'm sick and coughing very hard today.

"I don't see a fetus." Not exactly the way I wanted to end the year. Doc said there is only an empty sac 7w2d in size. I'm very disappointed but I tell myself I'm already very lucky to have my two boys esp after dealing w infertility. I go in for a D&C next week if it doesn't come out naturally by then. Thanks ladies for reading and replying.

I'm so sorry. It is so hard. And you are right, you are so lucky to have your two boys. I'm sure they feel like they are very lucky too. Take time to take care of yourself in the coming days, and especially after the procedure. Hugs.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Many of us loss moms would greatly appreciate if you can add a "TW" (trigger warning) to the title of this discussion due to your update. I'm so sorry you're going through this. Be kind to yourself during this time.
