Largest newborn/smallest size 1 diaper??

My little girl is still tiny at 8lbs 11oz at 9.5 weeks old. I tried to move over to size 1 diapers, but the legs have huge gaps and pee just runs out. However, the newborn diapers are seeming a little snug. Just wondering if one brand is larger/smaller. No pampers because she breaks out, but I'm open to anything else.
Side note... I know that she is small... in only the 3rd percentile, but she is gaining slowly finally rather than just maintaining, and we are seeing less blood in her stool. So, No need to suggest alarm... I've already got it. We are working with both a gi and her pediatrician.

We had to use Up and Up newborn for a while for the same size issue. We were able to move her back to Pampers afterward.

Also, which Pampers? We HATE the baby dry because of the scent, but the little smugglers were fine.

My LO is 9 weeks 9 pounds 4 oz so no worries mama! Pampers Swaddlers newborn were leaving marks so we moved up to huggies size 1 (only because they were gifted to us). We've only had one leak so far and it was because she pooped then peed and the pee had nowhere to go but out. I think overall Huggies are baggier. I prefer Pampers' fit.

ETA: I suck at comprehension. Obviously Pampers won't work for you, but yes Huggies seem bigger to me.

We use babies r us brand and up and up. We have a similar problem with leg gaps. We just fold the front of the diaper down and it takes care of the leg gaps.

I read on another board that the Honest Co diapers seem to run a little small so a size 1 in those might be a good in between diaper for now.

I've noticed that Honest and Babyganics diapers run a little smaller. I think the Babyganics are actually a bit smaller than Honest, and I like them better because it's harder to tell when they're wet with Honest diapers. I got a pack of Huggies newborn and remember them stating that they go up to 10 lbs. I used them in the beginning, so I can't say I tried them when LO was 10 lbs but there ya go. Good luck!

Honest company diapers run small. They are the smallest size ones that I found but they are not as soft as other diapers. I used them only until she fit into the Pampers better.

My 8 week old is maybe 10.5lbs (having her weighed again on Monday at her 2 month pediatrician appt). She's still in the newborn size of Andy Pandy diapers and they fit really well - it's pretty clear that the newborn size runs large. This brand of diapers are bamboo, they're super simple and don't have any gross scents, gels or chemicals (which is very important to us). I've been super happy with them - never had any leaks or issues at all.

That said, we do a combo of hybrid (cloth) diapers and disposables. When she's in the cloth diaper and it gets dirty, it has to be changed IMMEDIATELY, otherwise she's very unhappy. So our standard for disposable diapers is a little different than people who exclusively use disposables. But overall, I highly recommend the Andy Pandy diapers.

Huggies has somewhat of an elastic waist that might work for you since they have a little stretch in them. You can also fold the front of the diaper down (fold it so it tucks in on the belly side) if you really want to use pampers, which are my personal preference. I did that with both of my kids when they were born and was waiting for their umbilical cord to fall off and my daughter who was a preemie.
