  Hi, I'm sorry you're experiencing this, I know it is scary. Unfortunately, other people's experience will not be relevant for your experience. Many women experience spotting as a normal part of pregnancy whereas many other women experience spotting as the first signs of impending miscarriage. That being said, I would count the fact that you are not having cramping and not passing clots as a good sign for now. either way, now would be a good time to find an OB so you can get your beta draws done.   That said, we can't tell you what is going on. All you can do is wait and try your best not to panic. Drink lots of water and generally find a way to distract yourself. The following can cause cervical irritation that can produce spotting:
  
  --Sex
  -- Straining to pass stool
  -- irritable cervix
  
  There are a host of things that are benign that cause spotting during pregnancy. You might miscarry, but you might be just fine. There is just no way to tell at this time. I am crossing my fingers that its just harmless spotting.
