We just best bottoms for home with our current lo, so I'll just need to buy some smaller inserts since the shells last throughout potty training. For daycare we use bg or rar Velcro pockets. It's just easier for them to get a good fit.
It is listed under Specialty > Cloth Diapering. It's not super active lately, but I looked through a lot of old threads and there's still good info. I'm a FTM but plan on using a mixture of cotton fitteds with covers, prefolds with covers, BumGenius 4.0s (pockets, with cotton and cotton/bamboo prefolds as inserts rather than microfiber), BumGenius Freetimes (microfiber AIO), and some Blueberry Simplex (cotton AIO) to see what I like most.
I bought fuzzibunz and rumparooz. I've never CD before, but my sister has and she recommended the fuzzibunz. Bonus is they come in lots of cute patterns!
Check out Softbums. We have used them since birth for our 2.5 year old. They actually fit her at birth ( 6 lbs, skinny legs) and still do for overnights/naps.
I'm going to be using covers with flats and prefolds. So far I've bought Imagine and Thirsties covers. I've registered for some Flips and newborn Rumparooz as well.
We're going to use Best Bottoms. I like the idea of having the covers and the inserts. We're going to wait until the baby is out of newborn diapers and can fit the regular size Best Bottoms (11 lbs or so).
I like rumparooz best for all in ones and when baby is younger (under six months) prefolds and covers. I only had two wool covers because of the cost but those were awesome.
We are going with Cloth-eeze prefolds, Blueberry Capri covers and also trying a couple of Babee Greens wool covers while LO is a newborn. We plan to move almost exclusively to the wool covers when he is a little bigger. I received a few BumGenius hand-me-down covers in the medium size as well.
Mostly Thirsties covers with prefolds and gdiaper inserts! Also some gdiapers + inserts. I'm a covers and prefolds gal. We combo diaper and use sposies at night (and once baby is eating solids we use sposies if we are going to be out of the house all day).
