Since we're so close to feeding real foods I'm ready to purchase whatever I need to make my own food. Now I am not comfortable in the kitchen but this is important to me so I need all the help I can get. I was checking out the Nuby Garden Fresh Mighty Blender and it has really good reviews and seems to have everything you'd need. What have you ladies done in the past?
Re: Making your own baby food
ETA: I used it for DS, I haven't made any for this LO yet.
Just a tip- before you make a big batch of anything, have LO try it first. I made a TON of carrots and he HATED them!
The only baby piece of equipment I want is the one that can make those squeeze packs. That seems legit. I want to check it out at Buy Buy Baby this week. We got a heigh chair for Christmas so we are almost set!
Edit:Oh, and I also plan on using silicone ice trays to help freeze.
I also got little food tubs that id store his food in. I found it easier to just grab the tub out of the freezer than having to transfer a few ice cubes into a bag and so on.
Making your own baby food is actually so much fun!!
