Second Trimester Loss

Hey everybody, I haven't been around a lot lately mostly due to the holidays and a hectic work schedule. Either way I thought I would let you all know that we have suffered a miscarriage .

I went yesterday, At 19 weeks 4 days, for my monthly check up. After both the dipper and an ultrasound I was informed that she couldn't hear/see a heart beat. Sent me over for some diagnostic imaging to double check and that doctor confirmed. Somewhere between week 16 and 17 the little one stopped moving forward.

This has been incredibly hard, especially this close to christmas . I hate having to tell family because it starts the tears again. I am also no looking forward to having a d&e after christmas.

I wish everyone a merry christmas, a happy holiday and beautiful bouncing babies that you can spoil. We will try again and hopefully I will see some of you again one day

I'm deeply sorry for your loss. A friend of mine just lost her May baby too, it's nothing short of a tragedy to lose a child. Be gentle to yourself as you grieve.

So sorry for your loss. We lost one earlier this year so I know for a fact that it is a very hard thing to deal with. Please give yourself time to grieve and do not let anyone try to tell you that you have a time limit on grieving. Thoughts and prayers and creepy internet hugs.
