We didn't do a babycation with either of my boys. I am slightly concerned about my family's traditional summer vacation which is always the first week in August. And I'm due 7/30. Part of me thinks it is crazy to try and plan on going and the other part of me doesn't want to miss out on it. I don't want my boys to miss out on beach time with their grandparents but I know that I will also likely only have a 1 week old at best.
OMG, we just booked 6 nights in Hawaii for our baby moon! We're taking my 8 year old step son also, his last trip as an only child! I've never been, and i'm sooooo excited! And I'm going to snorkel with dolphins, which is my 5 year old self's dream, and just thinking about it has made me cry all day today. We're going in early February, so a month into the second trimester. Don't want to be too big in my swimming suit! OMG so stoked.

My family also does this. This year they are having the vacation close to my house so we can visit during the day but sleep at home. Is this a possibility for you, @ach298?
My husband and I are going to London, Scotland, and Ireland in January. It's a little earlier than a traditional babymoon but I feel safer traveling early in the second trimester. Plus, we currently live in Europe and this will be our last chance to do a big trip before baby arrives!
I am a teacher and have spring break in late March, so we're thinking (if budget allows) to do a long weekend in Charleston & Savannah. I won't be too large and it won't be too hot there yet, so it's the perfect time of year to go. We live in Pennsylvania, so the driving is the only thing that might be miserable. We just did a big cross country road trip in July as our "last big trip before kids" but we've been planning a southern trip for years and haven't gone.
Okay, we announced on Christmas Eve and my dad was able to move the beach house reservation back to early May. So glad I don't have to worry about a six hour drive in the last 2-3 weeks of pregnancy lol
We're hoping to go to Florida probably mid-June. My niece is getting married June 11th plus my kiddos get out of school June 1st and go back July 28th so we only have a small window for vacations.
We didn't really do a babymoon, but I was still camping (in a tent) into my 8th month. The only reason we didn't plan anything further than 3 hours away, was because we did a full house remodel in my 3rd Tri, so we had to be able to get home if need be. Our plan was to go to Hawaii in May 2016, but I am a horrible flier and since I am pregnant, I cannot take my anxiety meds for the flight or drink myself into a zombie state....so we aren't going to go. For this pregnancy, it is really undecided if we will do anything.
