Baby Giggles

What is the silliest thing that has made your LO giggle? For some reason my LO finds pulling towels out of a laundry basket hilarious! :D

  • Mine hasn't either. I'm dying for it!
  • Our friends' kid first started giggling when a plastic ketchup bottle made a farting noise.

My kids, it's been either me or DH getting in their face and saying something silly.  With Zach it was "piggies piggies piggies!"

  • We have had a couple silent chuckles but no big giggles yet! Usually it's just a funny face or word that gets a big smile

  • We've had a few silent chuckles too, but only while she's been sleeping. It makes me wonder what she's dreaming about! She does this excited panting thing after bath time when she's kicking her legs like a crazy person. It sounds like a pre-giggle so I'm always waiting to see if she'll giggle some night! I can't wait!
  • Random things. Me putting my shirt back on after nursing is apparently hilarious. A board book that makes noises, specifically the monkey. The cat jumping on a table...

  • My LO loves when we blow raspberries at him. He laughs so hard and it's so adorable!
  • This isn't silly per se. But LO was crying from gas, so I started shushing him, which usually calms him down. But today, he looked at me and started laughing! I was like, "Glad my attempt at comforting you is amusing!"
  • No giggles yet, can't wait though!
  • When I smell her feet and act like I faint from the stink, lol. She cracks up (They font really stink, haha).
  • My LO's first laughs came while watching his Dad put Christmas lights on the tree :) Since then he has laughed at his dad's attempts at beat boxing and songs from the musical Hamilton.
  • Gentle tickles on her neck kind of between her ear and shoulder lol
    She goes crazy!
  • She's super ticklish! Under her arms, on her neck, her feet, her sides. It's so cute! And when we softly kiss her chubby cheek she closes her eyes and smiles. Melt!!
  • I love love love the giggles! It's so easy to provoke her. When I kiss her she often opens her mouth to suck on my nose and she starts to giggle uncontrollably when I say 'are you eating mommy's nose?!' Also she loves when I comb her hair and just last night when I played her videos of herself on the big computer screen she was smiling and giggling a ton. So adorable!

Same! Only he's terrified when DH does it because he blows too hard, lol. I had to train DH to just do it gently so the baby laughs rather than freaks out :) So far baby has only giggled for me, and I won't complain about that!
  • I got hurt tonight and busted myself up pretty bad so I told my son all I want to feel better is a giggle for Christmas and he did a little while after!! :) melted my soul
  • @jen83mn my DH didn't even know how to blow raspberries! I had to teach him and it's hilarious (: DS absolutely loses it when he sees daddy trying!
  • It's only happened twice but she giggled when getting her shirt on. That sound is one of the best in the world.
  • Diaper changes! I don't know what is so funny but as soon as his diaper comes off he's cracking up! Or when he talks on the phone to his daddy (he works over and hour away so we talk on his drive home)
  • Tickles to his feet, belly, and jowls, but sometimes a certain phrase will do it, the other night my repeating "Jo-ey's a ba-by!" was *hilarious*.
He thinks it's funny when I chop vegetables, too - I hear giggles floating up from behind me when the knife hits the cutting board.
Oh! And dancing. Standing on our laps we wiggle him around in time to the music (especially swing) and he laughs and laughs.
  • Your mommas are so lucky. How old are your LO?

Little man is 15 weeks he's just started coming into his laugh before now it's just been big stupid smiles and screaming hahah
  • My lo has giggled since the morning of his 2 month appointment which was 2 weeks late due to a cold. It's from putting his onsie over his head lol last night he was laughing as his cousin said fruit words frantically to him lol I wish I could upload the video. Here's a pic right before said giggling
  • I got my first real giggle from my little one today! Absolute best Christmas present!
  • LO always gets really happy on the changing table but we got our first giggle while playing peek a boo. Before that it was just smiles :-) we are almost 13 weeks here.
  • Yay!!!! My girl just giggled for the first time today when I made a stupid face! And dad was there to witness it as well.
  • She has only giggled once, in the bath with her brother (last week). Neither of us knew what made it happen but the more we laughed, the more she did. Haven't had anymore since! She is 14 weeks tomorrow.
