  God this gives me hope. I'm 40 weeks today (it's 6:25pm on Christmas Eve here) had my sweep yesterday, so just over 24 hours ago and I've been miserable. Labor has been off and on. Praying all it takes is this full moon!

  Actually, there are no statistics that support more babies are born during a full moon.

  While there may be no "statistics" that support it, my midwife told me on Tuesday that they always fully expect babies on full moons and that its always extra busy in hospital those evenings.

  I was due 12/22...my husband is convinced we'll be at the hospital having this baby on Friday!

  Due 12/28 here.  I declined a membrane sweep yesterday b/c I wanted to avoid a Christmas Eve/Christmas birth if possible.  But if it happens it happens.  It will be interesting to see if there is anything to this full moon theory!

  @grkgdss00 Due date buddies! Still pregnant here. Now that Christmas is over baby can come anytime! Although I would maybe like one more day to get the house back in order.

  I'm 39+6. I know everyone in my family was hoping for a Christmas baby, but alas, no full moon baby for me. I did notice that @stephaniechen82 posted in the announcement thread so I guess it worked for one of us.

  No baby for me either. 40+going on 3 now (fingers crossed for today, I carried my first only three days over.) either way we will meet by January 1st- my scheduled induction date.

  I was due yesterday and with the full moon I was just sure I was going to go into labor. No such luck. I did have contractions over night but it didn't amount to anything.

  Full moon worked baby was born at 11:16pm 12-25-15!
