How are you feeling? Yesterday and today I felt waves of nausea. This is really early for me. Usually I don't feel anything until the end of week five or even the end of week six. It's obviously twins...just kidding:).

I have never done anything to reveal the sex. I might do something just with my immediate family. Honestly, I really don't think many people will care this time around since it's our fourth. I would almost bet money on the fact this is a boy based on how I feel. I loved sex reveal parties, though. I love how people celebrate every step of pregnancy now.

For our parents (and probably my sister) I'm going to bake cupcakes with either pink or blue filling. Not sure if we'll tell them that they're sex-reveal cupcakes beforehand. Might do the same with my coworkers. I'm hoping to wait to tell everyone else until baby is born, but I'm sure that won't happen.
How are you feeling? Super nauseous. I smell every smell, and every smell is gross. Going to buy Preggie Pops today; hopefully they'll help.

Rant/rave/positive vibes: rave- last day of work and then 3 days off with my family for Christmas!! Our son is super excited about the baby. 1 day I got lectured about coffee getting to the baby, 1 cup mind you. And the next he was afraid to cuddle me and squish the baby. Love him so much!!!!
Question: answer to question above, I find bananas easy to keep down and meat and cheese. This sliced lunch meat is easy with crackers.
How will we reveal the gender? That is a truly great question, and has been moved up in priority. My husband will say do whatever makes me happy, but all my family and friends are far away for a big party. I might have special pictures done and post the montage online.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: RANT: My husband's ex is trying to get child support (they have 50/50 custody and make almost the same amount of money). Our lawyer put their pay into the calculator and found that my husband would owe her $30/month, which they call a "wash" and wouldn't actually pursue since it's a hassle to get it set up for such a small amount of money, but her lawyer is insisting that he should pay $400 OR $277 (yes, you read that right, two random arbitrary numbers) for no reason really. She's actually arguing with our lawyer, saying he makes more than what his pay stub indicates (wouldn't that be nice!). His ex is saying she "deserves" more. Meanwhile, we have him 50% of the time, and my husband is the only one who has health insurance on him, and the only one who pays for his school lunches. I can't wait until our lawyers go to court and the judge signs off on the worksheet calculation, which is the one that says he owes her nothing.

I won't be finding out the sex, team green! So with that, I won't be having a party. We will tell our family in person closer to the end of the first trimester. We won't be doing any announcements (such as social media) after that, just telling people in person or calling them.

I really don't mean to offend anyone, but I find doing any sort of "gender reveal" to be a little ridiculous. Aside from the immense amount of importance it puts on a baby's biological sex, I kinda see it as just another way to be attention-grabby. Weddings and babies have turned into giant attention-fests and it drives me absolutely insane.
H and I would like to find out the sex (me mostly so I can focus on names) but right now we're not planning on telling anyone else. There was a slight naming issue with SIL's baby. MIL decided a name for her future grandson was absolutely perfect and insisted on referring to him by his name even though SIL wanted to name him something different. Guess what grandson's name is now?
H and I decided we're telling everyone we're naming ours Peanut, regardless of the sex, just to watch people try to swallow that one.

three questions today--
1) Have any of you had a subchronic hematoma during your pregnancies and went on to have a healthy baby? Doc mentioned this yesterday during my u/s, but doesn't seem concerned. Only told me to call if I start bleeding.
2) Have any of you flown after the 36 week pregnant mark? DH and I are trying to go to a family wedding in CA in July (based on revised due-date, I'll be 37 weeks on the flight out and 38 on the way home). With my first pregnancy I flew at 37 weeks, and didn't deliver until 41+5.
3) How the heck do I make my typing colored again? Before there was a box, but after their upgrade, I no longer see it!

UGH. I got a prescription for Prenate mini's from my OB yesterday, same as I did with my first. I have a weak tummy for vitamins, so I do every other day with a gummy, then prenate. I got a call yesterday saying it wouldn't be in until today, which is fine. So I went to walmart on my break and tried to get that plus the zofran she prescribed (for my cruise, just in case!) and the lady told me 10-15 minutes but she'd try to push it through. 25 minutes later I went to ask where they were at and another lady looked at me sheepishly, asked who I talked to the first time and told me I actually needed to talk to the tech about it.... Turns out I needed to approve a new company, and it was going to take another 20-25 minutes to process. I was out of patience and lunch break.

If I have my way we will announce the sex at his/her birth. We told everyone DD was female when we told them I was pregnant (I did the harmoni) at 14 weeks. If I lose and we find out the sex, we'll just tell people. I'm not a fan of "gender" reveal parties.

How are you feeling? Pretty good, only symptoms so far have been a sort of constant hungry feeling, some twinges, headaches/grogginess in morning, heavy feeling but not sore breasts, and I've been extra tired.
Doing anything baby related today? Ordered some onesies/bibs that say things like "I love my uncle/aunt/grandma/grandpa". We are going to tell immediate family that way on Christmas. Wasn't going to tell anyone this early but I've had one loss already and if I have a second I decided I would tell them anyway, so may as well let them in on the secret now!

How are you feeling? Absolutely miserable! Morning sickness kicked in this morning. I threw up upon getting out of bed and have been nauseous all day with a headache and dizziness and fast heart rate.
Rant/Rave/Positive vibes: I ate fresh basil with dinner tonight and afterward read that it can cause miscarriage. I had no idea. I'm having some cramps after eating it so now I'm afraid I've killed my baby by eating basil. Does it seem to anyone else that it's extremely easy to lose a baby these days? Or maybe the previous generation just didn't over analyze everything like we do. My mom laughs at me every time I freak out over something I ate. Back when she had me she said there were no rules of what you could or could not eat or could or could not do with the exception of alcohol. I feel silly for getting scared so easily but I really do not want to lose this baby.
