Nursery decor help

Hello my name is stephenie and I am eight weeks pregnant. Its been almost 7 years since my last baby. I know things have changed so my question is.....is out still o.k. to put bumpers in the baby's crib?

    From what I've read and heard no. unless they are the pure this mesh but even that is questionable due to suffocation that can happen when the baby starts to roll over and move more but can't always move back or if they fall asleep against them.

    If you can go without I would but to each their own I still see full fabric bumpers at most baby stores but they are pretty frown upon from what I gather.

    I was lucky if I got to shower when I had a newborn. Tieing and undoing crib bumpers only you will see is not going to happen. Save your money!
