Sent Home From Hospital. ..

So contractions started at 7am today and progressively became stronger and closer. We waited till they were 3 mins apart and then went to the hospital. A resident checked me and said i am still 1 c which i was yesterday at my 37 wk doc visit. They told me to come back when i cant talk during contractions. Needless to say i was disappointed and irritated. Currently waiting at home but not sure whats gonna happen. Anyone else been sent home?

    I was sent home with contractions being 3 minutes apart and getting stronger. (they had been like this for over 24hrs. 3minutes, consistent, and getting stronger.) I was also at 1cm, high, and hard. Went to bed that night and haven't had any with pain since. That was on last Monday when I was 36w5d. They said it was complete and total Braxton Hicks. This is baby #2 and when I went in at 5 minutes apart last time I was dilated to 4cm. I'll be 38wks tomorrow. Still waiting for anything.

    When I was admited to hospital for preeclampsia, the woman in my room got sent home- sounded really similar to your situation- and I can tell you she was so pissed off! But if the little one isn't ready all you can do is wait. Sounds like it might not be long for you now though. Hope you are in good spirits.
