Actual baby...not just chubby

Anyone else starting to pop out? I'm on my 2nd so I figured I would start showing a little earlier, but I feel like I really popped the last couple days. I bloat easily so I got pretty chubby pretty quickly, same happened with ds, but my stomach is definitely more round and the bloating has gone down...a little. I'm just happy my belly is starting to look like it has a baby and not just fat, I'm pretty sure my husband is already sick of the, "I'm fat," "No you aren't, you're pregnant," conversations lol. I'm somewhere around 11/12 weeks, ultrasound tech kept changing my edd with my early us so I'm waiting for Tuesday to finally have the doc tell me my official date lol

Re: Actual baby...not just chubby

  • I'm 11 weeks and definitely have a bump. I know it's not necessarily baby, but a result of baby moving up out of my pelvis. I got big quickly with dd, so I'm not surprised either that I'm already "showing". Now I guess I need to tell my boss....

  • This is my second pregnancy and today for the first time I feel like I am seeing an actual uterus bump and not a blump. I'm 12 weeks tomorrow according to LMP but measuring 13 weeks.

  • I can see a little bit of a 'baby belly' when I suck in the extra belly bloat I got going on. Other than that, nope.
  • I feel like I may have started to pop out today (12wks) but then again, I wasn't a big "uterus poker" before so I'm not entirely sure that that's actually what I'm feeling. I've looked pregnant for a few weeks, but it's definitely just been bloat. Now it feels a little more firm right below my spare tire area. I'm sure the doc will tell me at my appt tomorrow!

  • Sounds cute- post a pic for hump day bump day! I'm at 12 weeks 3 days and the ute should be over pelvic bone soon if it's not already. Hopefully we will all have legit baby bump bumps soon!
  • Oh I've been in maternity pants for awhile @elldel lol. At first it was just having my pants push on the bloat was making me nauseous and now there's only a little layer of pudge over the bump lol. Last week I was all bloat, from right under my boobs to my hips, now it's dropped and my actual stomach isn't protruding, just between my hips :)

  • @LaurenAsh23 and @afrazer521 I will be 12 weeks on Thursday, and starting to have a small bump for sure. Bloating went away (mostly) and hasn't been back, but now that uterus is starting to push it's way up I'm positive it's moving other organs around. I've gained about 4" around right at my natural waist, which is way higher up than where early bloating hit me.

  • @RideNRunMomma with my son I almost instantly puffed up EVERYWHERE so I was surprised the puffiness went down and the bump popped out lol

  • One way I will know for sure is when my "bump" doesn't change from morning to night.  Right now I wake up with a budge and go to bed looking 5 months pregnant.  True sign it isn't uterus/baby just yet.  I may ask my doc at our 10w appt in early Jan.
  • My phrase has always been I have a six pack it's just in my fridge (my fat). Now it's I have a bump it's just wrapped for safe travels ;)

    Ahaha. I love this!
  • I'm just bloaty and chubby from eating all the things ;)
  • My bump still comes and goes so waiting for it to be more permanent :)
  • The way I tell is how flat my tummy is when I lie down. If my blump suddenly melts to the sides, its not the baby yet!

With my first I was about 16 weeks before I had a legit bump. HOWEVER, wearing maternity pants will make a 'bump' out of anything so I may just start wearing those maternity pants sooner this time! I have leftover baby blump from #1 I need to mask...

  • the ute !

@noelietrex I love it! Saying it out loud: the yoot. Like My Cousin Vinny: the two yoots!

I popped out last week but most of it is still chub.
  • I looked 8 months preggo last night after eating. But I have lost weight and my pants keep falling off even with a belt. So I doubt my real baby bump will show for awhile. My hubby would like it to happen right now though.
  • I'm 12 wks and I did feel like my belly started to pop out two days ago. All of sudden the pants don't fit without an extender... Not really noticeable yet by others though, but it's an interesting experience....
  • Yess wearing maternity leggings today - soo comfy! It's hugging my chub perfectly haha. My sister says I look pregnant. I told her it's all chub/bloat. But at least there actually is a baby in there haha

  • I have noticed a change as well. I would not call it a bump yet, but there are changes happening in there. Hopefully I will really start to show soon. I cannot wait to start rocking an official bump!

  • My fluff is till fluffy. My friend who has a similar body shape started showing around 22 weeks, so that is what I am expecting. I knew it would take a while as a plus size momma, but I can feel that my uterus has grown. Being on my stomach is a weird feeling now.
  • A friend of mine who is similar body type to mine, but with a longer torso started showing a small real bump at 11 weeks. Mine totally doesn't come and go during the day, or melt off to the side when I lay on my back. It's funny that it's feeling real now - kinda. I was SO tiny, and now even with the 2 cup sizes my boobs have gained, my stomach is coming close to sticking out that far, when before it was definitely even smaller than my ribcage. Very strange to look at in photos...

  • My bloat is totally gone (I'm 12 weeks exactly on Christmas), which I attribute to finally feeling well enough to eat more than just carbs. There is no remaining 'bump' post de-bloat, and I know my ob had to put the doppler really low on my pelvis to hear the heartbeat last week. I think it will be another month at least before I get a legit bump, this little one is still riding pretty low.
  • No real bump yet, 12 and a half weeks in. But I don't even care anymore. Not as bloated as I used to be, and my belly is pretty firm to begin with... So screw it. I'm gonna let my blump hang out and look pregnant for the first time in my life and enjoy it. When else will I ever celebrate the fact that my abdomen is expanding?! My pre-pregnancy pants mostly don't fit anymore, and my shirts are officially too tight for my comfort. Maternity clothes from this point forward.
  • I start the day looking like this...so I'm saying its baby(or result of baby I should say) I started with a pretty flat belly, so it's starting to be pretty noticeable
