Hi there... Just curious if anyone else is doing anything cute or different for revealing the gender to family and friends?
Hubby found these great scratch off cards on etsy! So we ordered them to send to our family and a few friends! We are including a cute note about our pregnancy (we haven't told everyone about the pregnancy yet), and there will also be a shiny new penny for the scratch off portion... Which will reveal BOY!
Re: Revealing the sex to family and friends?
Last time we found out at the sonogram what we were having, then went and got the typical balloons in a box and had a small reveal party with family and friends. This time we decided not to find out at the sonogram, and have it sealed in an envelope ready to open at my parents house on Christmas morning!
I think I'm going to do a colored volcano though...but I haven't decided yet lol

Oh and there is a really cute card to go with it.
My friend did something really cute: she and her husband posted a picture of a Car game piece from the Game of Life with a little pink playing piece ready to pop into the backseat.
Little brother was born October 1, 2012.
It's really not a big deal to me either way (although I am not-so-secretly hoping for a girl, I won't be heartbroken to be wrong), but it is a big deal to ALL the future grandparents, so for their sake I'll try to make it something pretty good since I know they're all on pins and needles and I don't want to steal their joy.
But seriously... I am loving all of the sex reveal ideas!
Then we'll go to my parents house, skype in his folks, open the box and all find out together.
I recently was on the fence about finding out at the ultrasound but H loves the idea of everyone getting to show that moment together.
I saw on Pinterest a u/s pic with a photoshopped NYE party hat on the baby. Might do that, might skip it because I always found it awkward when people posted ultrasound pics on social media before i got pregnant! Still debating.
And I love everyone else's ideas too! Makes me wish our family actually lived in the state we live in... But we made due!
