Where is the cheapest place you e found to buy diapers? I think we're planning on using pampers sensitive swaddlers. Anyone know where to get high value coupons too?
Lurking from March... Do you have a Target near by? If so, they will accept up to 3 coupons per item - one manufacturer, one target, and one cartwheel app coupon. I'm not sure how often there's coupons for those specific diapers but I've heard a lot of people say that they can usually get stuff pretty discounted by doing this. It might not hurt to have a couple different brands to start since some brands work well for some babies while others don't. Other than that tip I'm not much help, we plan to cloth diaper.
Agreed with @Mamacat316. I got a ton of huggies from my baby shower and opened a bunch because i figured those were the best. But I ended up hating the way they fit on my boys! I will say though that pampers swaddlers are my favorite, but if you do stock up be sure not to open them until you actually start using them to make sure they fit right in your baby! As for the best place to buy diapers.. I'm not sure! I always just do target. I did get s few boxes a few weeks ago from jet.com for a really good price. Maybe check that out!
I have a Sam's Club membership and an Amazon Prime membership - Amazon is still cheaper, also I have found a lot of unopened boxed diapers on our local FB BST sites! We are actually set thru size 3 for our daughter mainly due to finding them cheaper on those buy, sell, trade sites and a few monthly subscriptions from Amazon.
We also preferred Pampers for our son when he was newborn, infant and hated Huggies for him - I've heard lots of moms of daughters prefer Huggies though (so I bought 2 huge boxes of Pampers & Huggies for size NB & 1 to see which work better for her) and then will return the ones that don't work. Target will exchange basically anything up to $75 just not for cash.
We have Amazon Prime + joined Amazon Mom and have them set to autoship. They get delivered to my door and i just keep track when we get through 1/2 a box and make sure some are on order. Amazon Prime is a seriously good idea if you don't have it already....I order pretty much everything on there now vs going to a store.
Just a warning on pampers, my friends NB broke out in a rash and they had to switch out brands frequently. It only happened when they used only pampers. We are going to switch between those and Huggies. Amazon has the best deals once you can buy in bulk and know what she likes/can handle.
We got ours from the NEX , so unless you have access to a military base I'm no help with stores.

My son got bad rashes from Pampers, too. We use Earth's Best and Seventh Generation with Babyganics wipes. They work great.
We always used pampers sensitive. At our shower for DS we got four boxes of Huggies but FYI you can take unopened diapers to walmart even without the receipt and trade them for the same price point. I get our coupons from coupons.com its usually $2.00 off which isnt much but target and BRU usually has deals going on frequently
We have a Sam's membership---but I have scored some really good deals from Amazon and Target. One thing that complicates Amazon is that as they grow out of a size and you still have a box left, you can't take it back as easily to exchange for the next size up. So I only buy on Amazon when I know for sure we will go through that entire box. I wouldn't stock up on too much of one brand or size for the same reasons that previous posters mentioned. We found that different brands worked better in different sizes. Newborns we loved pampers swaddlers, but when we got to size twos pampers always had blow outs so we switched to huggies and loved them for a while. I will say that Huggies at one point gave DS a huge rash and we swore those off for a while and went back to pampers and luvs. As far as coupons. I would check the target website for store coupons and watch when they have the buy two boxes get a gift card deal. Pampers website also has some coupons, as does coupons.com. Lately, I have been on the look out for coupons and deals on pampers and haven't seen much though.
We found that huggies snugglers fit our daughter best for the first few months then we switched to pampers swaddlers, which we like better. We have Amazon Mom, but quite often, if you time it right, Target's sales (with the $10-20 store credit) is cheaper/diaper than even the subscribe and save on Amazon. So, depending on when we need to stock up on more diapers, we purchase from wherever is cheaper. And as others mentioned, some babies are sensitive to certain diapers (or wipes). My daughter is allergic to huggies wipes (and multiple other brands of baby wipes and flushable wipes: we're potty training and she cannot use any of the flushable wipes!).
I would suggest, like others, not to stock up on just one brand. I know we tried Pampers, Huggies, Luvs and Target brand with my little girl. I preferred Pampers Snugglers when we was newborn, then we swapped to Huggies snug and dry for awhile. When she got bigger we swapped to Target brand. And then once she got very active, I swapped to Huggies little movers. Now she just wears pull ups at night. Target brand is a good bit cheaper, and also we have a Sams membership which makes them cheaper too.

I'm a big bargain shopper, and the very best deal I've found on diapers is target up and ups. Every few months they'll do a great promotion - for example, they recently had a deal that was buy 2 bulk packs (34.99/each) get a $20 gift card. Sometimes there will be a coupon on the target website or a cartwheel deal, as well. When they have their best deals, I stock up. We actually bought 10 boxes with that deal. I just received my 15% off registry completion coupon, so I will watch for a great deal again and use that coupon on top of it to stock up again.
Amazon Mom/Prime is pretty amazing. Best deals without leaving your house and you get it in 2 days right to your door. ETA: With Pampers, I have gotten free toys, DS' first year photo book for free and our Christmas cards have been paid for every year since DS' birth because of Pampers rewards.
