My pump isn't working. Not sure if it's user error (aka me being a sleep deprived idiot) or if it's the pump, but I'll be calling Medela today. I just wanna pump to have some extra supply on hand so mama can have a few drinks sometime!!
My skinny baby needs to gain some weight! Pediatrician stresses me out with all these weight checks. He's only in 8th percentile for weight and 68th for height. Basically I have a baby basketball player. Breastfeeding is stressful enough without freaking out that my tits are only producing skim milk. Grow baby!
Due on Friday and my body is totally psyching me out. Every day I think is going to be the day. And I am stuck at home on crutches, which makes it very difficult to distract myself. It could still be weeks! I want my body to just do it or calm down already! Wah!
My parents come tomorrow, I'm 39+1 and nesting of course, but I'm also fighting against housework. Basically I want it all done without having to do it. I got super hot and cried because my husband (who has been helping me a ton) wanted to fold laundry in the living room, and I had already started another basket in the bedroom. Gah I can't wait until he's out!
I was very stupid and went to my family Christmas party. There are currently 22 of us who are sick as dogs with vomiting and diarrhea. I ended up in the hospital for dehydration. Unfortunately, all the people who could help us with baby are either sick or at work. DH and I are on our own. I told DH I'm not leaving the house or having visitors until he's six weeks old!
The boy was up pretty much all night. It seems his little body is most gassy at night and I haven't yet gotten gas relief drops. I got mad at my husband around 2am and made him wake up and hold his son. Of course the boy calmed down with dad. Needless to say, not much sleep was had by me.
Also trying to figure out how I am supposed to pump and establish a supply when I bf on demand.

Mine always sleeps better and is calmer for Dad, even if he's super gassy and fussy. When I'm around he likes me to hold and snuggle him and needs on my chest if he's gassy. Such a sham but I secretly love being the favorite and getting all the good snuggles
I'm not having this baby for you and I have ZERO control over this, so please stop harassing me and making me feel guilty at 40+1 that I haven't birthed this child yet! --Is what I want to say to everyone in my life right now. I'm sending a massive group text saying that we will tell you when something is happening.
My due date came and went- if one more person says "you're STILL pregnant?!" I'm going to scream.
Also my OB told me today she is worried about the size of the baby and if she's going to fit coming out. I'm scheduled for an induction on Saturday 12/26 I'm hoping our girl comes before then.
I don't know what my body is doing, but I either have cramps from my first PP period trying to start, gas, or a poop that doesn't want to come out!!! Ouch... Make it stop!!!
While I was shopping for baby clothes today, some chick asked me how old my baby was. I just looked down at my belly and then back up at her.
Everyone at work keeps asking "if I've had that baby yet". Yes, baby is sitting at my desk. Shall I introduce you.

39+2 and still going into the office. Feel like having a press conference first thing in the morning so everyone stops asking me the same questions 10-20 times a day! "Are you scared?" "How are you feeling?" "When do you think the baby is going to come?"
We went to the doctor today for my 40week check up. Didn't get to see my doc bc of the holiday week, so we saw a different one in the practice. I explained again that my insurance is changing on Jan 1st to a completely different company which won't allow my doc to delivery my baby. The doc I saw told me to get the nonstress test done first (tomorrow) and then talk to my primary doc next week to schedule my induction as opposed to having a completely random doctor at a completely different hospital. Ok, sounds good. I know I can schedule an induction for a following day, have the baby on the 29th and not have to switch docs.
The front desk staff wouldn't let me schedule with my primary for next week. They would only allow me to schedule with the Doctor that I just saw.
And they were acting like I was being high maintainence for explaining why I needed to see my doctor.
So if this little man decides to hang around until 2016, I'll be delivering at a completely new hospital with a doctor that I've never met. I'm slightly irritated with my OB office today.
