Tell me your pregnancy brain moments...

I paid my mortgage twice in November and didn't figure it out until yesterday. I also forgot to pick my 9 year old up from school today, he normally walks with friends but we thought it was going to be chilly this afternoon. Luckily it was warmer than we anticipated. He texted me when he got home and said "thanks for picking me up mom ". I felt like a horrible mother.

Who else had a shining pregnancy brain moment?

    I have an Etsy shop and spent over an hour looking for an order I knew I'd finished sewing but couldn't find anywhere. I decided I had to have accidentally mailed it with another order and was going to embarrassingly message the last few people I'd sent orders to when I realized I had already mailed it AND it was checked off on my spreadsheet. Fail.

    I made my list for Christmas card mailing and was like huh it's a short list this year .... Yah. Forgot at least 15 people. No big deal :s

    I went to Walmart the other day and only had 2 bags. So I decided I leave the cart in the store and just carry the bags. I parked the cart in the cart area, grabbed DD and got halfway to the car before realizing I left the bags in the cart. Luckily they were still there when we went back. The bad part was DD knew right away. As soon as we left she started saying "mommy! My string cheese! I want my string cheese!" But I didn't really pay attention because I thought she was asking to eat it right then. Then I realized she was upset because we left it in the store. Ooooopps!

    I put juice in my cereal yesterday haha I kinda like the whole "pregnancy brain" thing, keeps me laughing

    @likeabel I'm glad you figured it out before you sent out those emails. lol

    @gauge1234 Did you figure it out in time to get them added to the list?

    @MillerMama13 I guess we are going to have to let our kids take care of us for the next few months. lol My son is getting his first phone for Christmas so then he will be able to contact me where he is instead of waiting until he gets home and start a hangout on the computer.

    @joose159 I love when I do that! I sure hope those words come back when this baby girl is born.

    @kristinamarie10 It definitely keeps me laughing too. It also give me something to blame when I do something dumb. lol

    I'm so glad to hear I am not the only one suffering out there!

    Just forgot the word for tissues. I told my dh I couldn't reach the "sniffles box". Atleast he knew what I was talking about

    I have left my hair straightener on like three times in the last two weeks. For hours! I have never forgotten to turn it off before! At this rate, pregnancy brain is going to burn my house down. :/

    I had to go back and look for my purse in my OB's office yesterday. It was on my shoulder the whole time. I was carrying DD on that side and didn't notice it was there. I got a few confused looks... :blush:

    I leave my driver's side door open all the time in the garage. It's a bad habit because I get DD out before shutting both doors. DH always texts me asking if I forgot something.

    I keep putting food in the wrong place. Milk in the cupboard, cereal in the fridge, eggs in the pantry, the list goes on.

    I was getting dressed a few mornings ago, still pretty groggy from sleep, when I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I actually let out a yelp of horror at the sight my huge stomach.Then a second later I remembered... Oh yeah, I'm 16 weeks pregnant!

    Forgot which toothbrush was mine, so I just threw them both out and replaced them with new ones. DH wrote my name on mine so I wouldn't forget. #fail

    I keep leaving things boil over. I did it sub my last pregnany too! Any time I boil eggs, water or heat milk I totally forget about it ! WTF!
