Can clomid be used the period you get on last week of BC?

I have some months of clomid and was wondering if I could count the last week of my BC (the period week) as the period to start clomid or do I let some cycles go by?

I have heard both ways, has anyone done this? How can I be the most successful with clomid?

    From my understanding of clomid, you should be being monitored very closely while on it. I'm assuming your RE or OBGYN could give you some answers here. Maybe even the pharmacist?

    I actually got pregnant the month I was supposed to start clomid, so no personal experience. However, the plan was for me to have multiple ultrasounds to monitor for overstimulation and ovulation.

    you should be monitored by a doctor. if you have the medication I would hope your doctor gave you specific instructions. mine gave me exact days of my cycle to use it.

    Yes I was given instruction, I see how to take them on the bottle.  My doc said to let a cycle or two go by before starting but I am afraid I am going to take it incorrectly as I seem to spot many days before flow so I don't know what actually constitutes day one...I am a dork I know...

    Hi, I am sorry for your loss. I don't have experience with the clomid, but I had to get blood draws at CD3 and CD21, so I had to know my days. I also had spotting and was confused, I called my doc and he said to go ahead and come day 3 of spotting. Depending on your period, spotting may or may not be counted, I would call your doc/nurse and ask over the phone. Good luck! I know it can be confusing.
