1st Trimester

toilet issues

Hey guys im almost 12 weeks and im pregnant with my first bubs. I have alot of stichy cramp pain in the pelvic area before I need to pee. Its super frustrating because im hunched over until the cramping goes away. Its usually very constant pressure until I go and settles down fast. Is anyone else having the same issues? Not a uti. I would of thought to be to early for bubs to put pressureon my bladder.

Re: toilet issues

  • Yep, any time I need to poop or pee, I get horrible pressure cramps. I just pee/poop and it is better.
You uterus is between your bladder and colon. Meaning it is grown up and even bigger. So when your colon or bladder is full, they have less room to go. Which can put pressure on your ute.
    Thank God for Raid.

  • The same! I get pressure cramps if I don't remember to go to the bathroom - I'm just not used to having to go so often throughout the day so I find myself holding it until I get crampy. Either that or I end up peeing myself when I sneeze or cough and then I'm like oh yea, probably should go to the bathroom lol!
  • I've gotten the same thing all troughout my pregnancy. especially now at 28 weeks with baby gettint bigger & bigger. there's less room in there for me now, so if i eat too much or havent gone pee in a while, it kills sometimes!
  • Your uterus goes from the size of an orange to the size of a grapefruit by 12 weeks, which means it has basically doubled in size. That alone can put a lot of pressure on your bladder. It sucks but it is totally normal.

  • Yes! I'm 28 weeks and I actually asked my doctor about it at my appointment today. She said it's super normal and fine because everything is stretching and growing.
