Post what's bothering you here ladies!

SO is bothering me. He has a property in a town south of where we live and he sold it, but they never turned in the deed and all the paperwork to update the county and paperwork, so he got a bill for taxes...so SO is supposed to go down there and handle it today. He won't seem to get out of bed and we have other stuff to do. He has 5 minutes before I am pouring water on him to make him get out of bed so we can get this day going. It's almost 1pm for crying out loud and I am just mad as hell!

I have been waiting for one of these boards:

Weekend TW goes to *drumroll* my (beeping) landlords.
It all started about 2-3 weeks ago when I found mold in my house... We tried to fix the issue ourselves (failing) and keeping finding more mold all OVER the house - master bedroom closet, shower, under kitchen sink, rug, under couches (on the floor), the couch itself, under couch cushions, under windows-- get the point? Well last Tuesday we talked to them about it. They decided it was because the gutters on the house (mobile home) were failing and they needed to be replaced.
Tuesday/Wednesday they pulled off the gutters.......
Guess what happened Thursday?
Rained... Poured... All...day...long...
Thursday night . We couldn't shut our front door -unless you put some weight in it. Friday- they didn't bother to come by the house to continue working... Front door would only shut with the aide of a crowbar, and SO's manly strength and kicking it in...
Saturday they came by- and told is the door was our responsibility to fix....

Hold up you (beeping beephole). My door messed up because YOU tore off the gutters two days before YOU KNEW it would rain..... The framing around the door is wet (that's how we know) warped, and the wood has swollen so the door won't fit..
Now it's MY responsibility...

Everyone is a TW. Or maybe I am. If I have to pick one though, my dog and my male cat are the chief TWs. They have this weird bromance going. They share the dog's crate and wrestle, which isn't too bad, but they also aggressively groom each other for hours daily. The cat will roll on/hump the dog's sweatshirt when it's off of him. The dog gets massively jealous if the cat gives anyone else attention. It's weird, gross, and it's all day lately. STAHP

My TW is this damn cold I have. Let me tell you, trying to suffer through a cold while 34 weeks prego with just dristan and tylenol is no fun. Plus SO comes home from out of town today, and I really need to shower, but every time I get off the couch I get dizzy/lightheaded. There were so many things I wanted to do today but I just can't! Dammit!

No offense to you ladies, but thank God it's not just me this weekend. I've got 2.
1) my iron pills! I've made it my entire pregnancy without throwing up a single time. Took my iron pill this morning, got the nasty burps, and BAM! Puked 3 times.
2) my 8 year old stepdaughter's preteen emotional/hormonal meltdowns! It is too early for this! I'm supposed to be the overly emotional and hormonal one, not you. Back down, girlfriend. It's my turn! You've got a few years!

My back is a TW. Woke up in the middle of the night with intense pain. Couldn't get into a position to relieve it, so got almost no sleep. Now I can hardly stand up straight, and hobble around the house. To top it off, DH has a mild flu so I feel bad asking him to rub it for me.

My TW is my body. I have had a sinus infections for three weeks now. Every time I cough I feel like my head is going to explode. I am tired all the times. My back is killing me. My jaw hurts. I told my husband if my first was like this we would only have one kid. Thankfully we were planning on being done anyways.

Honestly, we haven't seen anymore growing since they started fixing the house.
The rain was getting through the walls because of the gutter issues...
I just hate how the landlords are asshats about the whole situation.

SO and I had a LONG discussion about it last night. Since he's the only one working right now we are basically stuck... When I'm able to work again then we will get out of here ASAP.
If any more develops after baby is born I'll just escape to my moms for ahwhile, I refuse to have my baby in a house with mold.

They are fixing the mold issue.
And instead of giving us one month free rent like originally promised. We are now having to pay $245 in rent - and they are fixing the door - not like I have any choice because he literally tore the door apart (the frame, there are gaps in the door/frame) and said .. So I can fix it, or not choice is yours...

In the lease agreement it says all repairs are my responsibility.
I just think it's a hock of bull snot that I'm responsible for the payment when it wasn't my fault the wood rotted in the first place..

Also, my sister told me to get a legal aid, but that's gonna do
1. Get us kicked out for legally fighting them OR cause problems
2. Not going to solve anything

So we are just going to pay the money have them fix it. As soon as we get the money we will leave and never and I mean NEVER return. We've had problems with this place since day one- I just can't believe he messed up the front door and then told us we are having to pay for it "because the price of the gutters were a lot more expensive then we realized"

If I wasn't 9 months pregnant and I could carry out a serious conversation without crying I would first beat the living shit out of him then tell him EXACTLY what I think of this little shit hole they are trying to sell us.

I feel like I'm blowing up like a balloon. Can't stop shoving food in my mouth and I'm getting massively huge. What happened to my self control? It's embarrassing. Absolutely embarrassing. That's my own rant within itself.

My external rant, I'm sick and tired of people telling me how my pregnancy will go. Now it's how my labor will go. And already I'm hearing about how my future will go. Why won't people just let me live my own damn life? Why are they trying to push theirs on me??

If you are renting and have a lease, and they are the one that caused the door issue, it's their problem. It shouldn't cost you a thing because that's what they chose to do to their property. I also agree that if they try to drag their feet, you should call the health department or whomever on them. They just want money out of you. The door is not a repair, neither are the gutters. They are straight up health and safety issues period. It's their property so I don't see why repairs are your responsibility. The mold alone is a huge big deal. Mold produces spores that spread like wildfire and it can cause you, your SO and baby to become very sick. If it was me, your landlord would get his ass handed to him because mold can kill and most likely that mold was there well before you even moved in. I would report that landlord to every state agency. Plus each county or at least state has renters rights, so you may have more rights than you think. The price of the gutters are his problem too and he is a landlord. Either keep it up to code or don't rent to others, period.
