Acetone on pedicure injury

I was getting a pedi and as they were pushing my cuticle the tool went too far under my nail bed and I bled a bit. It seems like they put acetone on the cut and had me put it back in the soapy water. It doesn't look too bad - just a tiny bit swollen. Should I be worried about the acetone getting in my bloodstream? I don't want anything bad to happen to baby I am 4.5 months along now.

    Did you google this? I think you're going to be ok on this one. I had to take a category C drug for pain (my dog nearly bit off the tip of my finger) and myself and baby are doing just fine. If you're super concerned you should reach out to your doc.

    That is scary!! I Googled but didn't find anything - perhaps it is nothing to be too concerned about :)

    If anything the acetone would've killed any bacteria in the area. I highly doubt that little bit of acetone would have any effect on you or baby.

    Unless they had you drink a bottle of nail polish remover I would think you would be fine.
