i'm glad to hear you say that the constipation and ms seem linked for you too. I thought I was imagining it, but i'm definitely more apt to feel nauseated if i'm stopped up. yuck.
I haven't with this pregnancy yet (fx) but last one I was HORRIBLY constipated. I took 3 colace a day and put flavorless Metamucil in my morning coffee. I have yogurt every morning now, and I have been thinking that is helping with this pregnancy.
This may be TMI, but I'm going to bring it up anyway... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! But has anyone (at any point in time) experienced rectal bleeding? I've been constipated like no other and have been upping my water intake and trying to eat more fiber and etc to resolve it, but currently it still hurts whenever I pass a #2. And today while I was at work I noticed blood when it wiped and it was in my stool. (Sick, I know.) I'm sure I'm not bleeding from my vag though, so that's good. I googled this and apparently it's normal and caused by potential hemorrhoids or fissures! Just wanted to know anyone's input on or tips to resolve that. I plan on asking my doctor when I go in on Wednesday, and the office is currently closed so I can't call a nurse and I don't really feel it's an "emergency" based on what my research says on the subject.
Again, sorry for being gross! Just curious and a little bit anxious. Meh. :-/
I had that problem once before it is from severe constipation. It will go away when the constipation goes. If its painful try tucks medicated pads. So sorry I know how bad it sucks!
Ladies, I was constipated for 2 weeks. Took milk of magnesia at 10 pm last night and this morning violaaa! Highly recommend! (It may sound like I'm way too excited about this, but it was 2 weeks of terribleness!
Re: Constipation
And find a prenatal vitamin that has zero to low iron
