  • Typically when you start being uncomfortable on your stomach is when you should stop sleeping on your stomach.

Yes. Most women don't because their breasts are too sore but it is safe to sleep however you're comfortable in the first tri.

  • Until it starts to get uncomfortable for you, stomach sleeping is fine. The only limitations you may see is to avoid sleeping (or working out) on your back during the 2 and 3 trimester as there is a possibility of restricting blood flow. I take that with a grain of salt as my physical therapist said that's more so you don't get light headed and likely wouldn't cause any harm to baby so if you happen to wake up on your back, don't fret and exercise is fine as long as you feel okay. I've also read some things about sleeping on your left side is preferable to your right but again, there seems to be varying opinions about this. I'd say for right now, sleep is sleep and get as much as you can anyway possible!
  • As everyone said above sleep however you can right now! I sleep on my back and I know that's not great later on but for now it really helps me when I am not feeling well! Body pillows or pregnancy pillows have been great to help me feel more comfortable sleeping on my side :)
