How are you feeling? good today; almost no nausea yesterday--it really comes and goes! And I'm so grateful when it goes, but it's like it returns just as a reminder that I really am pregnant.

@WinchesterGirl: Possible GTKY: Have you had any weird pregnancy dreams? Maybe for later on, weird/rude comments or unsolicited advice (I've had friends tell me some crazy things random people have told them while pregnant and after the kids come. One of my friends has 2 redheaded kids and someone told her that redheads are demons or something and then laughed and said his daughter was a redhead too! Weird) Anyone taking a babymoon, and if so where? Which vacation are you most looking forward to doing with kiddos?

How are you feeling? Sore boobs and I'm pretty sure I slept 12+ hrs last night.
Doing anything baby related today? Had my repeat HCG drawn today and it's a lot higher than I expected, went from 43 Sunday to 666 today!
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm so happy my blood work came back good today, I'm so relieved. Started my progesterone suppositories today as well, kinda gross but I'd rather have that than the shot. Hoping if my levels keep increasing I'll be able to see something on the vaginal US Tuesday for my follow up from my CL cyst rupture.

How are you feeling? Sore boobs, mild lower abdominal cramping, bloated and emotional.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Still can't be 100 percent calm until my first appointment at 10 weeks. But I am getting really excited about telling our families (other than my parents who already know) within the next week. I'm really hoping since I'm experiencing more symptoms this time, my pregnancy is viable.
Questions? Has anyone experienced an increased heart rate? I read that's normal due to the increased blood flow. But my normal heart rate is usually in the low 60s at rest, 70s if I'm worried about something and slightly over 100 when I'm working out. But yesterday, while at rest, my heart rate was 93. Had me a little worried even though I assume it's normal during pregnancy.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I teach middle school. We had to eat lunch in the classroom today, and during the middle of lunch the morning sickness kicked in. I had to run to the bathroom. Luckily I have a co-teacher so I left her with the kids. Well, when I come back the kids are screaming and yelling and on the tables and jumping out of the window. Come on co-teacher, you can't hold down the fort for 5 minutes?

Advice for a first timer - Enjoy being pregnant. Seriously, savor it all. The first time you feel symptoms, the cravings, the little kicks, the late night baby movements that keep you up all night. You'll get to the end and probably be wishing it could be over and you could just see your baby already, but you will miss that close, inexplicable feeling of having the baby all to yourself in your belly, so don't be afraid to enjoy this moment right now.

Doing anything baby related today? Had my first scan today saw the sac and yolk. I go back in 2 weeks hopefully see a HB then. Also got diclectin today to help with the nausea.

How far along are you? 6 weeks (according to my LMP, but I think it may be more like 5 weeks 3 days, based on whe I *think* we conceived, but I'll know in a few weeks:) )

Doing anything baby related today? We are going to look at a new car tomorrow, something a little newer, with a bit more room for the car seat, and will drop our monthly payment by $100 / mo, and only add another year to the payments. Going from a 2010 CRV (that I love) to a 2013 Ford Edge.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: It makes total sense, financially, and from a safety POV to make the trade. Plus the new car has leather seats - so much easier to clean. But... I LIKE my car.

Maybe I have read too many fairytales, but declaring undying love, or grand sweeping promises, just seems like asking for something to prove you wrong. I feel like this is a very realistic promise of "Let's do all we can to make a good life together, love each other and our kids, in an imperfect world." Yup. We can do that. Plus it has this awesome mellow, bluesy melody I LOVE.

How are you feeling? Like poo... the nausea really hit hard starting last week. My hubby's company xmas party was tonight and I wanted to blow chunks at all the food coming and going from our table. (Note: buffets are a nauseous pregnant person's worst nightmare.)

I'm definitely a product of my generation and while I was raised listening to the "greats", I don't really have an appreciation for anything pre-1990-ish. My all-time favorite band is Fall Out Boy and while most of their songs fall into my "faves", my all-time favorite song would have to be "With you in Your Dreams" by Hanson. It's a simple song from their first album, but it was written after the passing of their grandmother and every time I hear, I can feel the emotion from the song coursing through me.
