1st Trimester

Bleeding at 6 weeks.

I found out really early I was pregnant with our second.. I had light bleeding, which I thought was implanting but then again a week ago and again yesterday. I'm really scared I'll have a miscarriage. Anyone been threw this or going threw it? Also I knew spotted with my first. Idk if that matters. Thank you.

  • I haven't been through that but like @ecwk said, no one here can really tell you what your bleeding means. I hope everything turns out ok for you though.

  • Some small, pinkish blood is normal. I don't know how much or the color. I would call your doctor and possibly have them see you. This way this could put your mind at ease. Good luck

  • I had it, and am now 27 weeks pregnant :) but as pp have said sometimes its fine, sometimes it isnt. Are you 6 weeks based of a scan? Or off your LMP? Maybe call your doc and get some advice
  • I started bleeding at 5w this pregnancy. I was worried as this was my 2nd pregnancy and I spotted brown the 1st time and it ended in miscarriage. However, this time around the bleeding was actually perfectly normal as I have a small hematoma that will dissolve or go away on its own. Doctor said I will probably continue to spot or bleed until week 14. If it turns bright red with period like cramps then there's a problem. I was skeptical at first since my first pregnancy ended at 11 weeks (baby stopped growing at 7 weeks when the bleeding happened). But seeing baby continue to grow I know it's going to be alright :)

    Best wishes to you!

  • I had spotting pink and some red till about 16 weeks. I was on bed rest till about 13 weeks. I had an mc in may this year and was afraid of it happening again. I was also on progesterone vaginally till 12wks. I was told i have a friable cervix enough to bleed from walking.
I recommend following up with your doctor and i hope things get better for you. Hang in there and try to stay positive.
