I am really starting to feel good, and have every desire to want to get back to my running routine. Then I find excuses not to... Ugh. My legs are jello already.
I have my 16 week appointment Monday since they canceled in me this week. It's the easiest one. Blood draw. Weight. Pee in a cup. Goodbye.
I decided to post a pic of the best friends you could imagine. They were all part of my Sept 2013 board. We live across the country, but still get together to be together. They are my rock. I have never had better friends in my life, and it's crazy to me when I say I met them on the bump.

Rants/Raves? No rants today. Raves: It's Friday!
Dr. Appointment updates? I had my second OB check on Monday and I go back next Monday for my echo-cardiogram. Only two more appointments until we finally get an ultrasound! Very anxious for these next 6 weeks to pass.

@NicknShan I love that. It's amazing how some of your best friends are ones you met online. I met a handful of women through a military spouses support group when DH first joined, and to this day they are my best friends.
I chose this picture. It reminds me to enjoy the simple things in life, and it brings back wonderful memories of adventures with DH.

GTKY: Post a picture that you love and tell us why you love it! I posted this picture of myself, DH, and our siblings. This was on our Annual Cedar Point/Camping Sibling Trip. I love that we are all close and love spending time together. Family is my favorite thing and even though this picture is terrible quality we were all having so much fun!

How many weeks are you? Fruit? 13...come on 2nd trimester...I want to be able to relax and breathe!
Rants/Raves? My rave is that I feeling like a different person than I did 2 weeks ago. The moodiness is still lingering but everything else is gone. I feel amazing!!! My rant is that my dog peed in the floor two days in a row. I forgot to give her calming meds before bed Wednesday, yesterday she acted like someone wound her up and let her go. The house will calm down a lot starting tonight and I'm hoping she does too.

This is my son and my daddy at this years Veteran's Assembly. I love any picture of my son and my daddy but this is one of my faves because my son had just MC'd the veterans assembly and paid tribute to my daddy. I am blessed to have some great guys in my life and these are two of them. Love them so much!!

Rants/Raves? I whined in the check in already, but the bloat. Gooooo awaaay.
Dr. Appointment updates? Sitting in a room waiting on the doctor to come in. I am up 1.5lbs since last week. Which makes me want to run screaming to the gym even though I'm sure it's just from the bloat/constipation combo that's made the last 14 weeks so pleasant.

Rants/Raves? I told my book club girls last night and they were thrilled for us... so nice to have such supportive friends!
Dr. Appointment updates? I posted in yesterday's check in but we got our NT scan yesterday and finally got to see our LO dancing and moving around, arms & legs waving everywhere! Strong heartbeat of 169! It was so surreal and amazing and made it so much more real! I told my husband it was nice to get verification that I wasn't just getting fat & cranky

This is my favorite picture from our wedding day... its truly a picture of how I had always dreamed of my wedding day, coming to life. We are surrounded by our favorite people (our bridal party of siblings, cousins, & best friends) and excited to be pulling up to our reception!

This is a picture from our anniversary camping trip this year. I chose it because it reminds me that some of my favorite times are when DH and I (plus our dog, Belle) are on some adventure together whether that's camping, skiing, hiking or sitting on our patio drinking beer. I appreciate all the fun we had when it was just the two of us and can't wait to add LO to the mix.

Rants: couldn't eat a thing today, wasn't nauseous, just constantly full. Perpetual snack time it is! Rave: just really loving this board lately.
Dr appointment: next Tuesday have a check up. Excited!
GTKY: I really wasn't sure what to post. This is such a great question. I really want to post one of my amazing family, but many of them are anti-Internet. Instead, I'll share one of our engagement photos at Acadia National Park. DH and I went camping to celebrate our engagement with our new pup. Our photographer came to the park to take our photos. It was such an incredible time as a new family, I felt so blessed.
Rants/Raves? My parents are coming in town tomorrow and I have so much to do! It will be a good visit but my house is a mess and I need to go shopping.
Dr. Appointment updates? I had one today. Heard baby's heartbeat in doplar and my daughter was really good during the hour we waited on the Doctor. I have my 20 week ultrasound in a month.

I'm really not sure what to post, especially since my computer is out of commission for a few days.
This is a pic of our mantel. The picture in the wall is from our wedding and it has the vows we wrote for each other as text over the picture. I love it. And the stocking hangers say "Leon" instead of "Noel" because of my childhood. My grandma had candle holders that spelled Noel and one of my aunts always made them say Leon and it drove my grandma nuts. We lived with my grandma for a while and I had about a dozen cousins that lived within walking distance of her house and we all started making the candles say Leon. So to me, it's not Christmas without Leon.

Rants/Raves? I'm tired of my ILs treating me like an invalid. I'm glad that they are concerned about me but whenever I'm around them they seem to think I can't do anything for myself, like walk down stairs or stand on a small step stool.
Dr. Appointment updates? My appointment Wednesday was great. Got to hear the heart beat (160). We have our antimony scan on the 12th.

I took this picture last Saturday. DH and DD were sitting and watching cat videos on YouTube (it's kind of their thing) and it was possibly the sweetest moment to me.

Rants/Raves? I love finally being able to share the news of my pregnancy with friends and coworkers. It's been so much fun for me this week!
Dr. Appointment updates? Saw both my MFM and my OB this week. Had NT scan (risk for T21 went from 1:80 to 1:1200) and received my cell-free fetal DNA test results that detected no aneuplodies. As a bonus, I found out that my identical twins are girls!

I'm officially on Christmas break for 2 weeks (& yes, awake at 6:30am on a Saturday, UGH!).
We've got a big Friends Christmas tonight, & a family lunch with my Dads side tomorrow...I'll be casually wearing my announcement shirt to both. Later tomorrow we're posting our announcement to FB...though I'm still undecided on how I really feel about this.

Wedding picture of DH & I! It's my favourite from the day...or tied for a favourite, anyway. As of now, that's been my best day ever, & I smile every time I see this picture (which is often since we've got it hung on the wall).

Dr. Updates: Wednesday's apt went so well- good hb (151... haven't Google it to see how average that is but doc seemed pleased)... not another till Jan 12.
GTKY: This was my daughter on Monday. I was exhausted and nauseated but she was being so lovely and easy. She even smiled for this photo upon request.
Rants/Raves? Vomiting all day today, can't keep anything down. Ugh!

Rant: I'm getting annoyed with all the facebook posts about abused animals and children. I just want to adopt all the dogs.
Raves: we are starting to annonce to more people now. I can't wait to tell some of my friends tonight at our annual friends Christmas.

Nt scan on Tuesday was great. Baby looked perfect. Blood work came back and no chromosomal abnormalities, so that's great.
Next appointment at 16 weeks not until January.
This is a pic from our vacation in St Thomas this summer. Can't wait to go back, but it will probably be awhile now.
