I had the same tests pp had. Mat21 a couple years ago and my Panorama tests came back on Friday. It is a little unnerving waiting for the results but it is a relief to have the information so early. We also have the NT scan on Wednesday.
I'm getting a cell-free DNA screen and the NT test tomorrow. I wanted to go with the least invasive proceedure possible first and this screen looks at my blood without disturbing Junior. I am definitely nervous about the results which take 7-10 business days.
How is did the tests go? I go in next Tuesday for the same (just the blood testing). Did they say they could tell you the sex of the baby? How long did the results take? Hope it went really well!
I had the informaseq genetic testing done at 10 weeks for my first pregnancy at 40. It came back positive for Down Syndrome. As you can imagine, I was devastated. I ended up having a miscarriage shortly thereafter. I am pregnant again at 41 and plan to have the test done again at 10 weeks. Wishing you "negative" results!
I am a big fan of these cell free DNA tests. It's so nice to have a definitive answer early on with a non-invasive test. I did MaterniT21 at 10 weeks with this pregnancy. @thomasmaynard sorry for your loss - best wishes for this pregnancy!
