I'm soooo excited to see how much our DD who is 18 mo old enjoys Christmas morning! She is loved the tree and lights and the wrapping paper and bows - I think her mind will be blown when she sees all the gifts under the tree! I can't wait!! I also can't wait to share the new baby news with our immediate families! Such a blessing!!

Rants/raves/symptoms: I love my doctor but hate the way the office is run. I have an HMO that covers everything, but not much choice of OBs and no midwives. So I don't think I'll switch because I'm unlikely to find another provider I like, and I'll just bitch and moan about the office for the next nine months.
GTKY: My son is 2 and loves opening presents. He will have a lot of fun this year.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? The insomnia started last night but other than that not a whole lot going on

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Intermittent nausea, and the bloating is OUT OF CONTROL. Blech. - Rave, DH has decided we call the baby "The Little" until we find out the gender.
GTKY: What are you most excited for about the Holidays this year? We're telling our parents! My mom is going to be so excited. It's been a tough couple of months, she recently had surgery for ovarian cancer. She's been given the all clear, excepting a follow up in 6 months. So, doubly blessed this season - My mom gets to stay with us a while longer, *and* we have a new baby to look forward to... And now I am crying.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Not a lot yet. Just tiredness and some sinus swelling.
GTKY: What are you most excited for about the Holidays this year? Sharing our pregnancy news with our parents and siblings! Yay! I can't wait!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Sore/big/veiny boobs, round ligament pain, all day sickness, tired, weird cravings, other more unpleasant things.
GTKY: What are you most excited for about the Holidays this year? Sleep. I'm a teacher in Australia so I'm on summer holidays. I get 5 weeks off to sleep. By the time I go back I should be almost out of 1st trimester and back to feeling human.
Christmas isn't really a big thing in either mine or dh's family. I feel we kind of just do it because it's expected. Hopefully next year with lo here it might be a bit more exciting.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Nothing yet. I'd say fatigue, but I think that has more to do with the fact that my toddler is teething and wakes up at least once a night at this point.
GTKY: dd is a little more into Christmas this year, especially the lights, so if should be fun going to look at lifts on Christmas eve.

I don't seem to have "morning" sickness, but the afternoon sickness is no joke! Makes the second half of the work day miserable! With that said, anxiously awaiting Jan 4th for our first Dr. appt. Can't wait to hear the heartbeat!
GTKY: What are you most excited for about the Holidays this year?
Sharing the news with my husband's immediate family. They've pretty much been hounding us for kids since we got married over 2 years ago, so I'm looking forward to seeing their reactions.
