This week has been so long!
Tonight H and I are going to finish up our Christmas shopping and then go out to eat to celebrate the fact that I got a 4.0 my first semester back in college after a 3 year break! So excited. I think that I am going to have him take me to my favorite fried chicken place. Yum...
Tomorrow we are attempting to assemble our crib. I want to make sure that all of the parts are there/in good order, so we will spend a large majority of the day doing that. Then tomorrow night we are going out with some friends for Hibachi. Looking forward to that.
Sunday is devoted to wrapping presents and lounging around in my PJs all day.
So what are you all doing?
Re: Happy Friday! What are your plans for the weekend?
Tomorrow, cleaning house a little bit in the morning then going to Disney in the afternoon/evening on our one decent day of weather to see the Osbourne lights at Hollywood Studios.
Sunday we will be finishing up any shopping we might still have, hanging around the house, and prepping for my dad and step mom to come over on Christmas Eve...
Tomorrow morning we'll do a breakfast and some shopping and then DH and his friend is assembling the crib and the compactum and hopefully we'll paint as well.
Sunday MIL is coming for a visit.
Very relaxed weekend
Osbourne lights are my favorite part of Disney this time of year!!

Tonight- getting nails done and eyebrows threaded for our reveal party tomorrow!! And I Need a hamburger for dinner already requested it!
Tomorrow- Already requested my favorite Mexican restaurant for breakfast. Hopefully a nap. Then REVEAL party in the evening
Sunday- Cleaning up the spare room that will be the new baby room and then some laziness.
Tomorrow and Sunday we'll bake and ice cookies with DS, and I may try to brave the Santa-picture lines. Beyond that, we'll do the typical weekend cleaning and grocery-shopping.
Tomorrow is my niece's 6th birthday party at one of those play gym places so I need to find socks that don't have holes in them. Ugh. Also, I just realized that we are not going to be able to make it to my ILs for Christmas Eve (oh, so sad...) so we are going to bring all the presents for that side of the family to the party so the kids will be able to open our gifts even if we aren't there. That just means that we need to have everything all set by the time we leave, which could be an absolute disaster. We'll see...
Sunday is a HUGE day. I have to be at church early to rehearse with the choir and for the Pageant. During the service, I am lighting the Advent wreath and singing a special song (I am more nervous about lighting the candles...last time I almost lit my hair on fire!). Then, I am directing the Joyful Noise Makers (our children's choir) in leading the Pageant. My son has been begging to be part of it, but he is only 2 and I feel like he might get really nervous and shy when the time comes, so I am playing that by ear. Then, heading to my mom's for Sunday Supper and probably a nap to prepare for...the Christmas Vespers Concert at 5pm. We are doing two sets along with 5 sing-along carols and it is just a whole buncha music...and standing. I am also the only one singing my part (Alto 1) so I really have to be on the ball. MH is serving as head usher for the concert so my mom and sisters will be wrangling my son. I know he is going to rush the chancel to try to sing with us. We also have to wear white tops...and there is no way I have a single white top that isn't stained in some fashion. I may just wear one of my funeral dresses with a white cami underneath and call it a day. So, busy but fun weekend ahead!
Saturday - likely trying to get all the Christmas shopping done! Mainly have my moms gifts to get, some stocking stuffers, and gift cards.
Sunday - going to breakfast with Santa and then going to the Ravens game. Not really excited at all since almost all of our star players are injured, and we have no hopes for a playoffs run so they're just going to be playing their 2nd/3rd stringers to see what they can do. whomp whomp.
@dsmith211 Are you in the Orlando area? We are about a 3 hour drive from Disney, so I'm thinking we'll probably be getting some annual passes once this LO is old enough.
Tomorrow: play and "work" party - I need to bring something and have no idea what to make
Sunday: family time at my mom's as usual
We're pretty excited. I got to see them last year during a race I ran at Disney but the last time DH got to see them is when he was younger. This is the last year for them bc of all the new construction that will be going on so we wanted to make sure we got them in.
@swflJD We live out on the west coast in the Tampa-ish area - about a 2 hour drive from Disney. We have Disney passes right now, but they expire soon and we're downgrading them a little bit till LO gets a little older. I would definitely recommend them though. Some of the new packages they have seem really good for LO's as well as they come with free photo downloads from the Disney photographers which we would definitely be using more with a LO in tow.
Tomorrow: Company Christmas luncheon, then date night with DH
Sunday: no real plans. Finish Christmas shopping and wrapping.
Tomorrow: Christmas Party with friends
Sunday: Recovery

Tomorrow: last minute Christmas shopping in DUMBO, possibly going into the city to check out a holiday market, and going out on a dinner date with H
Sunday: cleaning, laundry, and getting organized for our trip to CT on Wednesday. We're bringing a bunch of stuff to store in my parents basement and I want to have it all set aside for quick and easy packing Wednesday morning. Can't wait to start working on the LO's nook in our apartment. My husband has two shows every Sunday night and I'm actually going to one this weekend with friends, always a great time. (New Yorkers if you've never been to Asssscat at UCB, you should go - it is always hilarious!!!)
Tomorrow: Install the tub, prep for the shower tile, tile shower, layout/cut floor tile, and hopefully lay floor tile! It's a smaller bathroom so I'll probably still have time to prime the nursery too. I'm super ambitious though so we'll see this might spill into Sunday.
Sunday: church, finish tile, paint nursery and whatever else is left. Then we have to wait another 24hrs to install the vanity and toliet on the new tile. Maybe I'll edit later and add a before and during pic.
....... Sunday might also be smash the wall between the living and dining room day but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
Tomorrow marks the 2nd of our 6 Christmas parties. Not super excited to go, but the kids will love it so it'll be great lol
Sunday I'm making my final list for christmas shopping. Can't buy anything until I get paid on Wednesday, so here's to hoping there's something left on the shelves! Otherwise nothing much planned...going to relax since Monday marks DS#2's 1 year appt with shots in the morning and my a/s in the afternoon!
Tomorrow I planning on getting my son a big boy bed. This is my third attempt at going to Ikea so hopefully it will work out this time.
Sunday is a blank slate!
I'm going to go ahead and extend to Monday because we will find out if we're having a boy or girl!
I was off today. Meet a very good friend in philly for the day. She's moving to Europe next month so we wanted to meet up before she leaves. We did some shopping and eating. Our favorite things!!
Tomorrow we are getting our tree!! I'll also be recovering from today... I'm beat.
Sunday is lazy day. I have to hang around the house so I can pee in a jug all day. I'll be making the rest of our Christmas cookies and shopping for Christmas dinner. Steeler game in the afternoon.
I also would like to start to clean out the spare room for the nursery but it's packed right now with Christmas stuff. That might have to wait until after the new year.
Monday I'm heading out to see my parents in Alabama for a few days. So... lots to do before then.
Tomorrow I have to work 10am until 10pm and Sunday I am working 8-4.
I am currently on my way home from work (it's 1:15 in the morning here)
So my weekend consists of work and being constantly tired/moody.
Yours all sound great... Enjoy ladiess!
Saturday: Going to dump recycles at the city dump (they have a recycling area). Attempt to brave Walmart for grocery items. Get a couple last minute Christmas gifts (gift cards). Hubby's company Christmas party which Im dreading. They usually have open bar. I like open bar and usually have to drink to get through it. I can't drink this year. Ugh!
Sunday: Whatever didn't get finished from Saturday, plus watching the Panthers game. Wrap presents
