Kidney Stones

I couldn't find any previous discussions on these...

Any one else have them during pregnancy? This is my second child but I didn't have any with my daughter. That plus a UTI and I just want to die. The doc has me on antibiotics and Percocet for pain. I've passed one in 2 days and with tests it shows there's more to come.

I guess any advice?

    Oh no I am so sorry you are going through this how awful! I've never experienced one but know they are incredibly painful. Hoping you pass them quickly !

    I've had them but not while pregnant. It took me three weeks to pass, hopefully yours are quicker. Do your best to strain your urine and collect stones so they can be tested. Then, a diet to help prevent more can be suggested. In my experience, the UTI and pain immediately cease after passing. Drink as much water as you can, take or eat or drink some real cranberries, hang in there and cry if you need to. I am so so sorry. Take what they suggest for pain. I'm a FTM but I was told that kidney stone pain is worse than delivery pain.

    I've never had them but my DH has had them 3 times in the last 4 years! it's horrible! Last year he got them 5 days after our DS was born.  I am so sorry your going through it while pregnant... I hope the others are small and pass easily!

    I had them. Big ones. They actually caused me a lot of trouble with my first two pregnancies, because I didn't go about getting them diagnosed until after. Finally had to have lythotripsy between my 2nd and 3rd babies. They're awful. Definitely watch your diet. Drink lots of lemon water.
