A friend of mine journals the 10 little things that give her happiness and pleasure during the day. I have been trying to do it to keep my self sane and grateful. I thought some of you ladies might like the exercise, so feel free to join in!

1. A hot shower
2. Plumeria body wash from bath and body works (my favorite smell they discontinued years ago but they recently brought back!)
3. Listening to the stuff you should know podcast
4. My manicure from Sunday still looks pretty good today
5. Watching Impractical jokers with DH and just about dying from laughing
6. Last night's delicious dinner
7. Finding Christmas presents for my nephews
8. Complimentary room service breakfast this morning
9. Getting to spend the day exploring a new city
10. Seeing DH's hard work pay off (he is a 4th year medical student interviewing for residency positions

- Nursing school (even if it is hard right now)
- Knowing myself better, and well enough to start getting better (due to anxiety, PTSD, weight gain)
Also, @ceclarlinetlo , my DH is a surgery resident in the army and we were there a few years ago. Matching can be a rough time and so are interview rotations! FX he gets the residency he wants!
