Lucas Brandon EDD 12/11/15 Birth date 12/14/15 @ 12:59pm 7lbs 11oz, 20.5" long
Was induced on 12/14, was already 4cm and 100% effaced when I checked in to L&D. Doctor broke my water and an hour later I was up to 8cm. Got Pitocin to get contractions moving along quicker. Lucas came after 30 minutes of pushing, for a total of 4.5 hours of labor! Epidurals rule, can't imagine doing it any other way. He is latching like a champ so far so hopefully that continues. I got a 3rd degree tear so I'm in pain but this baby boy is worth every stitch of pain.
Water broke at 11 pm on Sunday the 13th, within 2 hours contractions were down to 5 minutes so we headed to L&D. I was still only 2cm so they inserted a foley balloon just before 5AM & Ordered my epidural. When the epidural took effect my BP tanked to 60/40. It took about an hour to get it under control at which point my regular Dr came in & told me that with LOs heart rate dropping on every contraction and my unstable BP she was recommending a c-section.
They took him at 11:06 AM, he was 9lbs 12oz & he is perfect. I'm so in love and happy..
We are working on BF, he would rather sleep than eat this morning.
Zayden Paul, born December 7th. 37 weeks 6 days, EDD 12/22/2015.
Was induced due to high blood pressure. Went in Sunday night, had cervidil placed for 12 hours. Took it out at 830 am. Broke my water at 930am, started pitocin drip. Had epidural at 12pm and then started pushing at 830 pm. Pushed for 2 hours but he wouldn't budge so the doctor made me do a csection . Wish we would have done that from the beginning!! Wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. The worst parts of labor/delivery/recovery were 1) being checked for dilation pre-epidural/getting water broke (feels like you are getting checked) and 2) not being able to poop after the csection. Was literally shaking and crying for seven days trying to get something out. All in all, not bad!!
Alison Dawn Friday December 11th 3:38pm 7lbs 2oz, 19¾ long
After losing our son last year, and Alison's pregnancy being so high risk, we're so releived that she arrived happy and healthy. We (and her big sister, Emily) are beyond in love with her!
Mackenzie Margaret EDD December 16 Born December 9 7lbs 7oz 20 inches long
Scheduled c-section, went so smoothly - I feel like I worried for nothing! Very minimal pain so far during recovery, keeping up with ibuprofen and Percocet only as needed if I push myself too far! Absolutely in love ❤️
Everett Tracy Born Dec. 15th EDD Dec. 26th 6lbs 15oz and 18in
We had a scheduled c-section due to breech set for Dec. 23 then at our weekly dr appt yesterday my blood pressure was a little high as it was last week as well. My dr was concerned this could be the beginning of pre-eclampsia so she didn't want to wait till next week for the c-section and we were rescheduling for Saturday. She wanted us to pick up an at home BP reader and check it 3 times a day until Saturday and if it got higher to call her. Well, my first time checking it that afternoon it was super high. We checked it 6 times, on both arms, on my husband's arm to make sure the machine wasn't broken and it consistently stayed high. So I called my dr expecting her to tell me to take a chill pill and she said she wanted us to go into labor and delivery to be monitored and we'd like most likely be delivering that night or today. My levels were all good and BP even went down to almost normal but it was decided that it would be best for us to do the c-section this morning. It was all so overwhelming and a whirlwind how it all flew by. The c-section went perfectly smoothly and wasn't quite as bad as I worked myself up thinking it may be. I was able to be the first to hold our little Everett and do skin to skin for a minute, he was barely crying and we were both just overwhelmed. They took him off to warm and clean him up and he was such a trooper, didn't even cry for the vitamin K shot.
He is such an angel with a calm temperament, very sleepy so having a hard time getting him to latch or interested in BF but I'm producing great so we'll get there eventually
Matilynn Daisy EDD: 12/18/15 Born: 12/14/15 induction to monitor LO throughout labor because of HLHS and Ellis Van Crevald Syndrome 6 lbs 3 Oz, 18 inches long!
Went in Sunday 12/13 at 8 pm for cervical prep, and was already dilated 3 cm, effaced 75% so they put me on a gradual increase of Pitocin throughout the night. Got up to 6ccs an hour at around 6 am, and at that time they lowered me down to 5ccs because it was beginning to look like too many contractions close together. 2:45 am I was over my hip and back pain and asked for pain management, at which time they administered the epidural. I love those things, helped me relax enough to sleep! At about 7:20, a whole team of people wandered into the room and gave me an oxygen mask, told me everything was fine, but my contractions were so close together, it wasn't giving Mati time for her heart rate to come back up high enough for their comfort. So they turned of Pitocin completely, and inserted an electric monitor directly to her head to get a more accurate measure of how she was doing while she prepared for her descent. Doctor told me he was going to have to break my water for this procedure, but when he went in, there was no water to break, I had dilated to 8 cm, completely effaced and she was at station 0! I started pushing atound 11 that morning and she was born at 12:45.
Because of her condition, I was lucky to hold her for her first 45 seconds of birth before the peds team took her. She was put on a breathing tube because her chest wall is not big enough for her lungs, and her breathing is more rapid then a normal baby's is. She is currently breathing pretty much on her own as of tonight, with a cannula to assist. Because of her heart condition, we need to assure throughout the week that her breathing will accommodate that of a baby who needs open heart surgery, and if she does, she will have the Norwood procedure done on Friday!! No mom wants to be excited her baby needs surgery. I'm just excited that my baby is going to be able to make it to surgery, because at one point, they didn't think she'd be able to. She's a real fighter this girl.
Sorry for the long winded birth story. I don't post much, but when I did post it was after my initial diagnosis of my LO, and I wanted to let all who were there for me then to know that I've been watching from a distance, I'm still here, she's doing well, and you ladies make me smile. Thank you.
We welcomed our little bundle on 12/14/15, one day before his due date.
Oliver Michael 12/14/15 @5:29pm 6lbs 11oz 20 3/4inches
We were induced due to some ductal constriction at around 8:30am. Started out at 4cm. Doctor came to break my water around 9:15am. Tried my best to go without meds for pain, but got an epidural just before noon. **shout out to you mom's that have made it without, I give you all so much credit** once I hit 7cm it all went very quick. By about 4pm I was at 10cm, waiting for call back from Doctor as far as when she'd be in. Started doing some pushing around 4:50pm, had to stop to wait for the doc, she got there, pushed MAYBE 10 minutes, then at 5:29pm, out came Oliver.
We couldn't be happier with how everything went and with our little man
My sweet baby girl arrived 2 days late (12/15/15) at a healthy 7lbs 6.8oz! Completely natural labor and delivery, thanks to my sweet husband reminding me of my plan during transition. Pushed for 10 minutes, didn't tear, she was so alert and had a perfect latch and fed for 2 hours! It was a wonderful and totally grueling experience.
Good luck expecting mamas! You can get through contractions, pushing is a relief, and you will think of nothing else one that little human is put on your chest!
Carlos Jacob. EDD: Dec 26 (originally Dec 30) Birthdate: Dec 16 Weight: 7 lb 1 oz Height: 46 cm
Birth story: On Monday I went for my usual doctor appointment. My Dr saw the rash I had developed all over my body and was very concerned. She had absolutely no idea what would have caused it, and really pitied me that I was so terribly itchy. She gave me the option to try Benadryl that night and if it didn't work, to come into the hospital to be induced the next morning.
Well, needless to say the Benadryl seemed to make it worse. It made me dozy so I was itching the rash in my sleep and woke up to completely swollen upper legs.
Went into hospital at 9:30am. Triaged, and cervix was checked - Dr was surprised to see I was already 3 cm dilated and very thin. Decided to go ahead with breaking my water. Water broken at 11:57am. After about an hour I had dilated to 5cm. They didn't think I would need oxytocin at this point, so I walked the halls having contractions (6/10 on pain scale) for about 3 hours. Cervix checked at 4:30 pm and I was still 5 cm. Started on oxytocin and I was starting to feel a lot of pain. On top of that, baby's heart rate would drop whenever the contraction started. It would pick up again but it got as low as 60. After continuously changing positions, it seemed to not be as bad after about 40 minutes of this, with contractions 4 in 10 minutes. But I was in pain! Laughing gas didn't work and made me feel nausous. Fentanyl took the edge off but by 7:30pm, I was still 5cm, and I was in so much pain I had a mild panic attack and they recommended an epidural.
After the epidural I felt very drugged. They had given me fentanyl before getting the epidural and I had used some laughing gas while it was being placed. I fell asleep as the epi began to work. Woke up at 10:30pm when the Dr arrived to check my cervix. I was assuming it had gotten no where, since I hadn't even felt a contraction while I was sleeping. Turns out I was 9 cm and paper thin! Baby hadn't quite dropped yet though. After 30 min I began to feel pressure and my nurse checked me, I was 10 cm and baby had dropped. So I started pushing at 11pm. I also had a fever randomly so was given an IV bag of antibiotics.
After 2.5 hours of pushing (and not very much pain at all) I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy!! He was stunned at first and needed encouragement to cry! Now we're still in the hospital and trying to get little Carlos to breast feed. So far I've been expressing into a spoon and using my finger, as he doesn't seem to want to suck yet. But we'll get this going eventually!
Connor Michael born 10:28 am via c section after a failed version procedure. EDD was 12/22 but was born 12/16. 7.4 lbs 21 inches and doing perfectly. I'm so in love with my son. At my last prenatal app I had my ob check my cervix to see if I was any more dilated. As she was checking she said she wanted to do an ultrasound to see if he was still head down. Turns out he wasn't. So we scheduled a version for the 16th, but was told since I would be 39 wks 1 day by then, that if they couldn't turn him they'll just go ahead with the c section that day. So he didn't turn and I had a c section. Recovery sucks and I'm kind of sad that he's not inside me anymore but he's healthy and doing great and is SO spoiled. He loves skin to skin. Not just with me either. He's a friendly little boy. I'm just so in love with him.
Ta'Leyah Monique Good Born Dec 13th @ 10:01pm EDD: Dec 27th 4lbs 14oz and 18ins Went to labor and delivery around ten in the morning due to contractions being two minutes apart for nearly four hours they monitored me for a while then decided to send me home because the contractions were causing no cervical change (1.5cm and 80%) this was at three. We go home and I get a warm bath, at this point contractions were right on top of each other, so I get out of the bath and lay in bed after laying down for a while I start to feel something leaking so I ask my husband to check, turns out it's blood so we race back to the hospital (5pm) we get there and I'm 5cm and 100% they admit me and my water breaks during a check and then my blood pressure skyrockets. Baby's heart rate would drop into the 70's. and 50's with every contraction. Her head was turned to the side and tilted down in addition to the cord being around her neck twice. We had to use the vacuum and forceps to get her out. She didn't cry right away which scared me. Even though she was born at 38weeks her size means they classify her as premature and I developed preeclampsia so the challenge now is getting her to gain weight and my bp down. She is feeding like a champ and we couldn't be happier to have our sweet girl here with us. Good luck to everyone still waiting!!!
Luke Nicholas has arrived! Due date: 12/5 Birthday: 12/16 at 5:30am 7lbs 6oz 20in long
We had quite a long induction and labor, but it was all worth it! Baby Luke is here and healthy. What an amazing experience and beautiful blessing.
Thank you ladies for all your support these past months. Wishing everyone the very best for this special time. It's truly a miracle and we are all so blessed to be able to bring life into this world!
Franklin Joseph 9 lb 4 oz Dec 16 at 12:48am 5 days late
16 hours of labor, got to the hospital around 7 to labor in the tub which was nice. Transition around midnight was really hard, I was sure I couldn't do it anymore. My water finally broke, and on the contraction following my water breaking I pushed him out in ONE push on my hands and knees in the water- wasn't expecting to have a water birth but it was pretty amazing! He went right into my arms and I held him while he fed for a couple hours. I barely tore and recovery is going much better for me this time! I feel great! My daughter Loretta adores him. Good luck mamas!!
Kaleb Mason born 12/10/15 EDD 12/07/15 I was induced on 12/09/15. I was in labor all day and at 2:01 am he was born. He weighed 6.3 and was 18.5 inches long. He came out just starring away at me. The whole family is in love. He is my little blessing my mom sent me as she had passed away a year ago.
My OB scheduled my induction for 39 weeks because I was on medication to control my gestational diabetes. I was admitted to the hospital at 10pm, Dec 7th. After 3 days of Cytotec & Pitocin, with very little progress (went from 0cm dilated & 0% effaced to 1cm & 60%) my doctor inserted a Cook balloon to manually dilate my cervix. That finally did the trick! The balloon came out 8am Friday morning. The nurse checked me, I was 5cm, and my water had broken. I kind of lost it at that point, and even though I had an epidural, I just couldn't get on top of my breathing during the contractions. I started crying that I couldn't do this, and my mom told the nurse I was in transition. The nurse checked me again, and sure enough in just 13 minutes I went from 5 to 10cm.
My epidural was topped off. Baby was at -1, so the doctor wanted me to labor down for a few hours before pushing. I took a nap, woke up around 11am and felt very intense pressure and pain. The nurse checked, said baby was station 0, but I could try to push and see what happened. The next contraction I started to push, and then the nurse called the doctor and said I was ready to deliver. Doctor was headed into c-section, and asked me to wait 30 minutes before pushing.
An hour later the doctor still wasn't there, and I couldn't wait anymore. I told the nurse I was pushing with or without the doctor. The next thing I knew a parade of people I'd never seen before came into my room, and I started pushing. I pushed through 2 contractions, and then the doctor finally arrived. I waited for the next contraction, started to push, and the doctor told me to stop. (My mom said the cord was wrapped around baby's neck.) Then he said I could push again, and our little girl was born at 12:22pm!
I had a slight tear, 3 stitches. Baby girl had slightly low blood sugar when born, but it went up and stabilized after breastfeeding. She also has slight jaundice, but it is not severe enough that she has needed treatment at this point. Breastfeeding has been challenging, but we are still working on it. We were discharged from the hospital on Sunday- almost a full week after I checked in.
Isaac Joseph EDD 12/10/15 Born 12/15/15 8 pounds and 1/2 ounce 20 inches
I went in for an induction at 5am and he arrived at 7:32 pm. My pelvis is very small and he was stuck for a very long time. They had an emergency c-section team waiting outside the door, but I was pretty determined not to have a c-section. I had to push for an hour and a half. He is a great latcher! So happy to have our little guy here!
Admitted to the hospital Sunday evening to start Cervidil before my induction the following morning. My water ended up breaking on its own at around 1 am and she was born by 4:30 am. I'm very grateful I didn't end up needing pitocin, but it was quite the whirlwind as I was expecting labor to take all day.
Baby Cortana Born 12/15/15 Healthy baby girl. Emergency c section due to ruptured placenta and hemorrhaging. Baby is healthy and breastfeeding like a pro. I'm so in love.
I went in for an NST at noon on the 15th. During the ultrasound, we discovered that my amniotic fluids looked strange. It was really thick and seemed to have things floating in it. Awesome. I was 4 cm dilated and 50 % effaced, so the doctor recommended an induction ASAP. We went straight to the hospital and met with my OB about how we would induce, either break my water or start pitocin. We decided to break my water, especially because if the concerning and mysterious ultrasound results. At 2:20 my doctor broke my water. Contractions started right away and progressed really quickly. Around 4 I asked for an epidural. I was at 5 cm when I got the epidural. It was placed and started at 4:30. At 4:40 or so I was checked and was at 8 cm. A few minutes later I had that overwhelming need to push thing happen. My nurse told.me to just breathe though it until she could get two gloves. My doc was really close by so he was able to make it and catch the baby. I pushed twice and that was that! Little Boaz was born at 4:52. I couldn't tell the gender by looking, so my husband revealed it was a boy. Then I saw his testicles and thought, how could I have missed that! He's perfect and precious and I'm very happy with how it went down. Oh, and it Turns out that the thickness in my water was a bunch of vernix. Adorable
My birth story begins in that I never thought labor would just happen out of no where . I thought for sure she wasn't coming until my induction on12/21. But around midnight on Dec 16 I started having contractions and I went to the hospital around 230 am with contractions every 2-3 min and then got a bit more sporadic. They sent me home from triage an hour later 1cm dilated and said I was in early early labor. I labored at home for 24hrs with contractions every 7min. Getting stronger with intensity and obviously no sleep. I sat on the medicine ball a few times and took a walk. At 1030pm I decided to go to the hospital and went to triage around 1200pm. At first she sounded like she wasn't sure I was ready to be admitted but checked me and I was 4 cm! "Thank God !" I said . They started pitocin and my contractions quickly elevated . Originally I wanted to birth naturally but got up to about 6 cm in 4hrs. I asked for the epidural and the Dr. was in an emergency c section. I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT AN HOUR AND A HALF !! They gave me statine(sp?) to take off the edge but that was pretty pointless. The only thing it did was make me a little loopy. After labor for over and hour and half waiting for the dr. That's when I began to get irritated with the anesthesiologist. I literally felt like I was in the movie exorcist ! It was sometime during the point my water broke. FINALLY he came in and I had to sit through 2 contractions at 8cm dilated while he put the epidural in. Lord only knows how I managed to sit still but I did! Very proud of myself for that one!! 2 hours later I pushed for 30 minutes and she was here!!!!! I tore like a mother !! 3r degree b/l labial and rectal muscle tears ... OUCH! But we're recovering and she doing pretty well breastfeeding. I still have a cath in and am afraid I may never pee on my own again. The pain down there is almost unbearable at times. The only complication Ms. Emery had was meconium when I was pushing and it literally scared the crap out of me and I started to cry a bit as I was pushing because we all know the horror stories. But the nurses and Dr. was ready and they did well taking care of my little princes . SO here she is !

After a very long labor, Liam David Ray S. Came into the world December 14 (due the 18th) weighing 8lbs 12oz and measuring 21". We are absolutely enamoured with our sweet boy
John Robert William DOB: 12/16/15 Due date: 12/17/15
After 2.5 hours of active labor, my teenage daughter and husband ready to catch the baby, my midwife came through the door about 5 minutes before I had him. 9lbs even and 22 inches long. My 5th and last baby.
I was induced Saturday the 12th due to polyhydramnios diagnosis, being on Heparin injections, and had a marginal cord insertion. This is baby number three.
Birth Story:
Went to the hospital for induction at 7:30 am. Lucky me, there was a paramedic student there to do my I.V. (which I totally don't mind usually but he placed it in a weird spot and my nurse had to redo part of it and that hurt like a son of a gun). I was already at 3 cm so a very low dose of pitocin was started. Almost instantly I started contracting every 3-7 minutes so there was talk that I could go fast. 45 minutes later my Doctor came in to break my water, little did I know that because of the polyhydramnios, it would be an excruciating ordeal. I have had my water break before and it was nothing more than a pop and a small to medium size gush. Well this time it rapidly started coming out and my OB ended having to shove his hand in pretty far and slowly release the fluid so that the cord did not prolapse. Holy hell that hurt, and it took over 15 minutes of constant flow for him to safely remove his hand. Afterwards, he said that he probably could have done that after the epidural, thanks a lot buddy. I was in a bit of a state of shock at how that all went down so I had no thoughts of being pissed about it. He also said that that was way more fluid than he anticipated, so I know he didn't do it on purpose,(took about two hours to fully come out).
After my crazy water breakage, we thought it was game on, but labor kinda stalled out. So the pit was turned up which totally got my contractions going again and at that point I ordered my epidural. Lucky me again the paramedic student came back with the anesthesiologist. He had to explain every little detail to his trainee, which made the process twice as long, and not to mention he was unsuccessful with the first needle and had to do it twice. Ouch.
The epidural was heavenly and helped me relax and dilate. By 4pm my labor had stalled once again so we decided to try the peanut ball. It worked, in less than an hour I went from 5-9 1/2 cm. Mean while, I could feel the epidural wearing off and the button wasn't doing crap, so they ordered a booster dose with fentanyl in it. Of course it didn't get there in time, and I ended up feeling everything right at transition, wow, worst pain of my life, even felt the ring of fire. Pushing helped a little, but not really, all I wanted to do was get her out. I guess the pain was motivation because I pushed her out in 5 pushes. Baby girl tolerated everything extremely well and I was able to reach down and pull her out the rest of the way myself. Born at 5:26pm covered in vernix and healthily as can be! I had first degree labial and perineal tears, one next to my urethra, and the placenta tore and some was stuck in my uterus which my OB had to go in and get. So not fun, but I held on to her and tried to concentrate on my sweet little daughter!

Mild contractions started in the middle of the night, went into the hospital at 3pm that afternoon. Epidural at 9pm (hallelujah). Started pushing at 3AM. 1 hour later she was here! We are smitten by this little beauty.
Ellis Quinn Richardson EDD December 28th BORN December 13th by induction BW 7lb 6oz
I was always told throughout my pregnancy that Ellis would be big like his brother, I was given growth scans at 28, 32 and 36 weeks where he followed his line right up till the 36 week one, on this scan he showed hardly any growth so they monitored me and baby for a while then decided to induce me on the 11th December
I went to the hospital at 4pm and they inserted a pessary at 6pm, within an hour I was getting contractions every minute that lasted for 40 seconds but they weren't overly painful. 24 hours later they examined me and I was still completely closed but because the contractions were still coming they decided to leave me for the night before inserting a new pessary, about 10 minutes after my examination my waters started leaking but they kept telling me I'd probably just wet myself, I went and took a bath then went back to bed where my waters continued to leak, they examined me and confirmed they had gone and that I was now 1 and a half cm's, next morning they took me to labour and delivery, my contractions had now stopped, they examined me again and there was no change so they inserted some gel to bring on labour again, this time my contractions were 4 to 6 mins apart and a lot more painful, 8 hours later they checked me and still no change I was still just 1 and a half cm so they decided to stick me on a drip, after 58 mins on the drip I had fully dilated and I was ready to push, I pushed once and out came his head and body all face down, he didn't even have
time to turn, it took from 4pm on the 11th till 5.30pm on the 13th with constant contractions through the majority of it to get nowhere but from 5.30 till 6.29 to go from 1 and a half to a baby on my chest on the drip, we went home the next day but are now back in hospital due to jaundice
I was induced on the 17th, 10 days after my due date. After 2 lots of gel, my waters broke on their own and labour progressed quite rapidly, and after an epidural and drip from 2am-12pm and 17 minutes of pushing my sweet darling girl entered this world screaming her lungs out!
Baby girl Miller born December 18th @ 12:40 am. 5 lbs 6 oz. We are in love. We both struggled with labor. After several IV blew the vein( and over 15 failed attempts to start a new one)both baby and I were struggling so I ended up with a catheter in my neck. After 23 hours of labor (3 of pushing), baby pooped causing the choice to use use a vacuum. Baby was wisked away by ped team and when they finally said we are ready for mom the Dr working on me said she needede flat so I had to wait even longer. We are hoping to go home soon.
After 27 hours of labor my little girl decided it was time. I labored to 6cm and finally requested an epi I wanted to marry the anesthesiologist!! My nurses were amazing. I went from a 6 to a 10 in a matter of 2 hours, crazy. I had all of my family in the delivery room (6 people) and loved the company. It was such an easy labor thanks to the epi. Almost 1.5 hours of pushing and she was out..only ended up with a 2nd degree tear yay! Zoe is so beautiful and so healthy. We are smitten.
It all started with my weekly appointment on 12/11, my bp was high again so the dr wanted to induce. I spent all weekend in the hospital on pitocin and my little man refused to arrive. The dr sent me home with orders to return on Wednesday 12/16 if I didn't go into labor on my own. They started cervidil that night but had to remove it when I was having three minute long contractions that caused his heart rate to drop just a little. Then in the morning we started on pitocin and the dr broke my water using the fetal heart rate monitor for his scalp. 19 hours after breaking my water my little guy was born. Labor was hard between an epidural that wore off and a replacement that caused a spinal block. Morphine did nothing but make me sleepy and loopy while feeling the pain. A half hour of pushing to get him in final position and finish opening my cervix and half an hour of pushing him out. This was the easiest part once I pushed him out and found out that he had the cord wrapped around his body, neck, and head and passed meconium. The greatest moment of my life was hearing that first cry. Nothing else existed from the moment I saw him till I heard that cry. He is doing well learning to nurse, after a day of not eating, but unfortunately on a bili bed due to some jaundice that has developed. We should be going home today as long as his next bili count is good.
Well 5 days of labor (baby was in a weird spot.) And literally 5 minutes from a emergency c-section I managed to push out one 8 lb 4 oz baby girl. (3 hours of pushing with no break)! Feeling greatful. (Edd12/15/15) birthday 12/20/15
Re: D15 Birth Announcements
EDD 12/11/15
Birth date 12/14/15 @ 12:59pm
7lbs 11oz, 20.5" long
Was induced on 12/14, was already 4cm and 100% effaced when I checked in to L&D.

EDD: 12/18/15
Born: 12/14/15 induction to monitor LO throughout labor because of HLHS and Ellis Van Crevald Syndrome
6 lbs 3 Oz, 18 inches long!
Thank you.

We couldn't be happier with how everything went and with our little man
Good luck expecting mamas! You can get through contractions, pushing is a relief, and you will think of nothing else one that little human is put on your chest!

Birth story:
On Monday I went for my usual doctor appointment.
It's a BOY

Went to labor and delivery around ten in the morning due to contractions being two minutes apart for nearly four hours they monitored me for a while then decided to send me home because the contractions were causing no cervical change (1.5cm and 80%) this was at three.

They had an emergency c-section team waiting outside the door, but I was pretty determined not to have a c-section. I had to push for an hour and a half. He is a great latcher!

Born 12/18/15
