Symptoms: itchiness, achy back & hips, heartburn, some insomnia
Appointments: Last week and next week. Baby boy is measuring ahead and is approximately 3.9 lbs and was in delivery position when we got the u/s
Happy/Crappy:
Happy: Office Christmas lunch is today and they're bringing in Olive Garden. I've been thinking non-stop about the salad and breadsticks since yesterday.
Crappy: Our neighbors have 5 dogs that they NEVER bring inside and they bark non-stop day and night. They have these long, deep barks too and I'm reaching my wits end when it's 2-3 a.m. and they're attacking each other.
Symptoms:Bump is itching like crazy, no amount of being on a stability ball is getting rid of the "pregnancy waddle" from sore tailbone, extreme exhaustion, get winded easily
Appointments:Tomorrow is a regular checkup and they are going to put in an order for another growth scan for January
Happy/Crappy: Happy - This Friday is my H's work Christmas party. They do it at a casino every year and last year I saw Richard Sherman (Seahawks) playing Craps. Hoping to see someone else famous this year...oh, and PRIME RIB
Crappy - It hurts to walk!
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? umm...I think it would be Miracle on 34th St, or a Mickey Mouse Christmas Carol
Symptoms: starting to get some pain in my hip/groin area when I walk too much, especially in the mornings because I'm not sleeping comfortably. Heartburn.
Appointments: This Thursday for a checkup
Happy: Next week is my last week of work!
Crappy: I weighed myself this morning. Enough said.
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? Love Actually, but I was watching The Holiday last night and that's a close second!
Symptoms: Stomach is starting to itch, stretching in the belly is painful, MY BACK--oh it hurts so bad, makes sleeping, sitting, and anything tough.
Appointments: Tonight, regular appointment.
Happy/Crappy: Happy is that this morning we had a breakfast for my department at work and it was delicious. I also brought a coffee cake and doubled the batch to have some coffee cake at home So good.
Crappy: No joke, again with the back, its really just annoying. Also, I am getting stressed with not having anything ready in the house.
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? I would have to say all of the claymation movies on ABC family channel. I love them. I also love Elf and the Grinch!
@funkypineapple I think you have mentioned this before about the neighbors dogs, why don't they take them in and crate them at night if they are battling? That should bother them too with them being outside! Thats tough. Wishing you some restful nights soon.
@brushesnbrunch Oh the durian, is the goofiest looking fruit, but let me just tell you...DONT BUY ONE. They are the foulest smelling things ever when you cut them open. So gross. A friend bought one and we had no idea, he cut it up at our house and we couldn't get the smell out!
Symptoms: the same hip pains for a couple weeks, contractions
Appointments: Follow up today, see below
Happy/Crappy: Crappy: I started having real contractions last night that wouldn't let up so I had to go to L&D and sure enough they were real contractions so they gave me a shot to stop them now my doctor wants to see me today to check what's going on
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? Charlie Brown Christmas, have to watch everytime its on tv its a classic
@funkypineapple what state do you live in..? In most states that's illegal (leaving them solely outside and letting them fight) and you can call animal control. My mom had to do it for some of our old neighbors. The dogs were way better off when they were rehomed. My dog barks when she's alone, but she's inside and I've asked my neighbors and made sure they can't hear her. I don't know how people let their dogs go nuts and don't feel bad for their pet or those around them!
@brushesnbrunch I don't know what a durian is, but I know it sells for 500 bells in animal crossing..
Apparently it's a fruit that smells like death. I've heard mixed reviews on it's taste. Most people hate it, but my BIL swears it's delicious..he's kinda crazy though so I'm not sure I trust his opinion...
@oxsarah7ox@thisusername I'm seriously THISCLOSE to calling. 2 of the dogs are older and the other 3 are now bigger puppies of one of them. HOA sent them a very nice letter IMO, asking if they could please quiet their dogs. They replied back blaming it on stray dogs and apparently refuse to let their dogs inside because they have a "rare" cat of some sort.
@mamacastro - T&Ps to you! What did the Dr. say today?
Oh goodness @funkypineapple that is awful. That is a lot of dogs, and really sad. If you have a cat that you know you can't have dogs with...DONT GET A DOG!
Symptoms: Baby was head down at my appointment last week, but I'm 99% he isn't anymore. I'd been having that crazy bowling ball pressure, back pain, vag zingers, etc that I've only ever had when baby is head down and low. And now it's all gone, hiccups aren't down low, kicks aren't in my ribs. I actually laughed last week when doctor said, "baby's head down" and said, "Uh, yeah. I'm aware!" Anyway, the good thing about it is that some of my unpleasant symptoms are gone for now. Baby has tons of time to flip - I'm not worried.
Appointments: next week.
Happy: Had a great weekend away with my husband! So much fun and so much good food!!
Crappy: Day 2 trying to potty train my 3 year old. Both days, he's sat on the potty about 20 times and gone ONE time. All other pees and 100% of poops have been accidents. So ready to quit.
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? I have so many. I think White Christmas is #1, but I also love Elf, Home Alone 2, Miracle on 34th, It's a wonderful life. They're all so good.
Thank you @thisusername and @funkypineapple. The doctor said to watch it and if I get six in an hour to go back to L&D immediately. Since i'm only 30 weeks they will just try to stop the contractions with medicine for as long as they can
Symptoms: Today i've been having a TON of BH contractions and it's really been annoying. Overall my hips/pelvis is starting to really hurt. I think baby is head down for the moment...
Appointments: I had an appointment last Thursday with a growth US. My doctor was really pleased with #3's growth (about 3lbs 10oz) and the fact that my placenta was looking a lot better! so no more ultrasounds and we've started going to appointments every 2 weeks. So I see him again before Christmas already! I can't believe how close we are getting!
Happy: I'm happy that things are looking good with my pregnancy and we're just going with the flow now.
Crappy: I'm definitely feeling more tired throughout the day. I wish i had more energy.
GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas movie? I love White Christmas too and The Holiday...and the Santa Claus...there are just too many good Christmas movies!
@mamacastro I think your baby may just be too excited about Christmas! But hold on baby, you'll have plenty and you'll enjoy them more if you come later!
